:wave I didn't post yesterday, but I got in 30 mins on the treadmill and another 30 mins jumping on the trampoline with my daughter.

Today another 30 mins on the treadmill and 30 crunches.

I'm seeing the numbers on the scale going down, but no changes on the tape measure....weird cause usually its the other way around!

I'm starting to feel really great anyway!!!

Hope all is well with everyone!!

P.S. Diva... yeah that's the plan. I want so much to meet that Christmas goal!!!!

          :wave Welcome Alex!!!!

And congrats to everyone keeping to their regimens towards the Bellys Being GOnE!!!!!

I am beginning to notice subtle changes... like how my body is starting to accept the amounts of crunches I am doing. It was a SERIOUS challenge at first. My neck doesn't get as tired.... and I am beginning to be able to lift a little higher than before. Also, while I crunch, I put my hand at my navel.... and I can feel them WORKING!!!! OH JOY!!!! :icondance Of course, I can't SEE them yet.... LOL..... but I know that will be coming later down the road. Ah, cardio, cardio, cardio.

My name is Kumani (I know that's a mouthful)...... my friends call me Ku :hug

Do as many as you can do comfortably and work your way up.. some here do 100 crunches while others (myself included) may do only 30-40.
You have to figure out whats right for you. Also, are you doing any cardio?
If not then that is a must since crunches alone only work the muscles, you need cardio to shed all the stuff your abs are hiding behind. (I don't know if thats your situation) HTH

Hi All... didn't do any crunches, pilates, or treadmill this weekend, I did however go to the lake where I swam and did some kneeboarding. while kneeboarding I work muscles I never knew I had. So I got a little workout in. Especially when I fall and have to get back on the board it takes some serious ab work to pull my big butt back up on that board.

It had been about 3 weeks since we went to the lake and one thing i did notice is I had to tighten up the straps on my life jacket... it was actually overlapping in the front!!!! (probably due to boob loss) :yikes that's my luck.

                Hope all is well...

I will be posting measurements on Wednesday...hopefully new ones!!

ya know..... you don't HAVE to do all your crunches at one time. If you do 20 in the morning... and 20 at night -- that's still 40 for the day. It's perfectly fine to break them up.....

I personally do the 100 at once, but in 4 sets of 25. And, I am doing them on the exercise ball (saves your back). But, I think I am able to handle a little bit more -- so I am going to start pushing myself a little further. Plus, I need to start working on the reverse crunches too

REMEMBER... It's not the QUANTITY that you do. It's the QUALITY that you do. Make sure you are doing them correctly, and get the optimal results!!! Don't worry about the numbers - they will come!! (I learned that from my personal trainer :yes )

Brandy, looking forward to the posting on Wednesday - I'm going to measure Wed morning and post, too.

                    What is a reverse crunch?

I admit I did terrible on the weekend!! I cheated on the diet, feeling very guilty. I did get on the treadmill though. So I doubt there will be any losses for me by Wed. I will do my cardio and crunches tonight, this I vow!!! :yes

My name is Laura by the way!

Congrats to all for doing so well so far!

A reverse crunch targets your lower abs... basically, you lift your hips off the ground (with legs in the air), and keep your upper body stablized.

:nod Don't forget --- CARDIO IS KEY to this.... that's really more important than doing any crunches. The crunches, or whatever you are doing to target those muscles are only strengthening them. We must stay focused on fat-burning as well in order to see our new 6-packs once the fat starts diminishing! LOL

There are a few cools articles on iVillage for Ab Workouts. They have a lot of variations/alternatives to doing "crunches" as well as suggestions for routines.

Although I am pretty much only doing exercise ball crunches right now, my trainer also introduced me to a few other good moves (that WORK you OVER), one called the bicycle (literally lay on your back and pedal an imaginary bike. legs about 45 degree angle).... another called "Ab Alphabet" - I had to lay on my back and draw the letters of the alphabet out in the air with my legs (yes both of them together) -- sometimes we "counted to ten" too...LOL

                        WOOOO!!!!!! :smackhead

I've been getting my pilates and treadmill in every day except for this past Saturday. I'm getting discouraged because I'm not seeing weight loss or inch loss. I need some support please. :sadblinky

                            Ayiana ,

You are doing great!! Don't give up!! I am in the same boat, I keep gaining and losing th same 3 pounds over and over and over. But I know this will pass and all my hard work will pay off in the long run.

Are you on induction? Do you think it would help to have someone look over your menu? More than likely you are gaining muscle...give it time you will see a difference! personally, I feel like the weight should be melting off of me from all the treadmill work I've been doing. I just have be patient...I don't want to be patient... I want to be skinny LOL TODAY :yes

                            You can do this!

Hello, wednesday check in time! I finally past the 20 lb. mark!! Yay! I am now down 22.5 lbs. I lost 1/2" off my waist, none off the lower belly.

I am struggling with exercise as I am at heart a truly lazy person, so I admit that it I am not doing as much as I should. I hope I am not losing muscle tone, I am quite proud of the muscles that I have and I wouldn't want to lose them! lol! They don't look any smaller at least. So that is where I stand, I have to exercise more! Hope you are all doing well! :wave
