    Hey Shelly, 1 lb. to go for your Valentine's Challenge, you're doing great!

    I am probably going to stay on induction until the March Boot Camp starts up, then try to enroll in that. It sounds awesome. How did you like Boot Camp, biogeek?

    Gosh, will this week hurry up already. I can't believe it's just Tuesday. Finishing off my first pint of water for the day...

      I am in, count me in!!!!!!! I want to reach onederland before June first so, that will be 67.6lbs for me. I will weigh in on Sundays. I am so excited!!!!!!

          Hi there chrleeann & BabyDreamer, hop on board. Thanks for doing the chart, chrleeann.

          I flubbed up, I'm afraid. I will have to start fresh tomorrow. I will weigh in Sunday just like regular, though. I was doing great - but then Aunt Flo came by and you ladies know the rest.

          Willpower is my biggest problem right now. I got in the habit of eating my pain recently with a family member who was dying, and just haven't been very successful in getting out of that habit. I WILL, though. I know me and what I'm capable of, and I WILL GET this goal.

              Weigh in day for me, I was really scared because I was only cheat free the last two days, I just restarted at the first of the month and have been off and on the whole time, I think I will be ok if I can get threw these first few weeks that I am still having all these cravings and my body is adjusting to this WOL and that is my goal to make this my WOL. I don't know why it's so hard, I feel like I must like to punish myself. Not only do I loose weight while cutting out the carbs, but I feel so much better, not sleepy all the time, migrianes start disappearing, acne on face clears up, so all those things together it should be easy for me. That is the ultimate goal to feel good and be healthy. With all that said I did loose 3 lbs this week , I am not going to beat my self up over what could have been gone if I had stayed true 7 days instead of 3, but this week I am going to be true to my self and stay cheat free and get in my water . Also, I want to measure a few key spots just in case that scale doesnt move, I have to see some results or depression starts kicking in. Good luck this week everyone lets see some poundage gone !!!!!!

                Hello I just wrote a post here but I think I did something wrong but anyways I want to join in for the Summertime Challenge. I have not had a pair of shorts on for 15 years because of being nasty fat but on July the 26 I am taking my 18,15 and 13 year old sons to the beach and you better believe by then I will be able to wear shorts!!

                  Hey folks,

                  Well, my weigh in put me back at 270. I'm lining up the water bottles for work. When one's empty, I start on the next. When they're all empty, I go refill 'em. I'm ready for this challenge. Bring it on!

                  Chrleeann, hang in there. I know how easy it is to say "just this time" and then get depressed that you feel like you can't keep from cheating, and therefore can never lose weight. But I'm sure this can be done, I see people all over these boards losing like crazy, and I myself have lost a bunch of weight before. It's possible. We just both have to get out of the habit of sabotaging ourselves.

                  I feel TONS better when I'm doing this. Everything you said and then some more. My blood sugar levels out and I'm not sluggish all the time. My focus greatly improves. I get right out of bed in the morning, with a good attitude to boot. I don't shy away from exercise. I'm more social. This WOE is more than just food, it's just getting you out of bad habits and back into things that are good.

                  Anyway, I hope to buy a treadmill if I get good enough tax returns. I think it'll be easy for me to walk in the door and instead of hopping on the computer or plunking down in front of the TV, to hop on the treadmill and walk. Then when it warms up, hopping on the trail and hiking.

                    I'm in too. I would like to lose 35lbs by June 1st, which would make my goal weight for that time around 163. I weigh in and take measurements once a month, but sometimes I peak in between.

                      Are you still in induction? Or OWL? It's just a stall, nothing to worry about. The body just pauses once in a while and prepares for the next loss of weight.

                        One of my goals since I started Atkins has been 150 by my 21st birthday, 7/7/2006. It has been over five years since I've been at that weight and I would be comfortable going to the beach to celebrate. That's a summertime challenge if I ever heard one!

                            I STARTED ATKINS DIET ON DEC. 12TH, 2005 AND I HAVE LOST ABOUT 50LBS BUT SINCE THE LAST THREE WEEKS I HAVEN'T LOST A POUND AND I REALLY HAVENT DID ANYTHING I SHOULDN'T HAD DID. I DON'T TAKE IN 20 CARBS IN A DAYS TIME, I JUST DON'T UNDERSTAND WHY I CAN'T LOSE THIS NASTY FAT!!!!!!!!!!!! I KNOW I AM GOING TO WIN THIS BATTLE AND WE ALL CAN WIN IF WE STICK IT OUT AND DON'T STEP BACKWARDS.

                              I can't believe what I did. I not only cheated, I have totally binged the last two days, have not been on the treadmill since last friday. What have I been doing?? What is my problem??? Do I not realize I weigh in on Sunday, that's two days? Do I not know if I don't stay with it I am Not going to lose? Hello? Earth to me, wake up!!!!
                              Ok back on the straight and narrow(there's nothing narrow about me..lol), going to drink my water!, going to only eat what is allowed!, and going to do this!!!!! Think I am going to measure today too been meaning to do that so I can tell if I am losing even if the scale isnt budging.

                                Sorry I haven't posted in awhile....been studying!!

                                Anywho, I weighed this morning and I've lost 3 pounds. Woohoo! I don't know how often I'll weigh since I'm a slow loser. I started Atkins Jan 1 & now it's Feb 17 and 3 pounds is what I've lost in that time. I've lost inches from before, but not weight. So, I'm finally glad to see the scale follow the inches. I may have to adjust my weight loss goals. I want to lose weight faster, but it's just not happening for me, even though I follow this WOE strictly and I exercise almost everyday. As long as I'm losing inches, I am happy.
                                HW=250+/222/GW=175 37F/5'7
                                Revamped my WOL starting 2/10/08.
