    Las Vegas here I come baby in June!!!!
    Now, to get to business before I go. I am thinking I can lose at least 8lbs per month. Thats what I am going to shoot for anyway, not just before vegas but from now on! until maintenance anyway... I could be to goal in 5 months. I just gotta do it! No more excuses!!!!!I am planning calories and if I eat I think like 1600 calories and workout I should be able to do it~!! If I can lose 2 a week that is super duper!!!! a restriction of 1000 cal per day! If I actually do that it would put me at 165 just 5lbs from goal! Wow- that is settting in verrrryyy well... I coul almost be at goal by the time I get to vegas! I have never been soclose to goal, even at 30lbs to lose... WOW 15 weeks... I can and will do this... FITDAY to keep me in line, and adbb of course!!!! whoooo hoooo I am psyched~!

      Well, I just got back from the gym and I had a good walk/jog. I walked for about .8 miles and I jogged for 1.2 at 5.5mph. I feel great, My hips and ankles are sore though. I think I may need to invest in some new running shoes!
      I sneaked a peek at the scale this morning too, it said 195.8... thats down from the last time I checked!!! I can't wait to weigh in again on Sunday... I took measurements a few days ago too so in a couple weeks I will be checking those too. I really thing running is like the best thing you can do for your body... I have bad knes and I used to think I couldn't run... granted I am sure that losing 50lbs has helped a bit too! But I am loving the fact that I can jog again~!!!

        Awesome being able to run again isn't it!!! Funny because the same thing happened to me the other day while on the treadmill. I jogged for twenty minutes straight, it was only at 3.8, but I was actually jogging and I was so amazed, it's like "whoah I didn't realize what good shape I was in!!"

        But other then that, I have been dragging my feet on the side of the wagon lol. I've been doing good for two days, then I have a day where I blow it completely, and repeat cycle. Can't get back on track! I'm not beating myself up about it too bad - my "cheating" has consisted of fresh fruits and trail mix and peanuts, wheat thins, and some cereal. Okay I just need to give my body a break from nothing but strict induction for the past 9 months. If I could control my portion sizes it wouldn't even be that bad. Alas, that's the problem, I can never control my portions when I'm off of atkins it seems like!!

        Anyway, I'm going to give myself a "break" for today and tomorrow and then monday I'm going to really re-committ myself to induction. It's going to be really hard, but I need to do it. Just need to sit down, re-assess my game plan, my goals, my motivations, etc.

        Anyway, I will fill you in more on the failings of Mary later on lol. I'm glad to see you doing so well, rikki!! Hope all is well for you too chrissy!

          Mary- you aren't faliing, it is all part of the process I think. I know I sometimes remind myself hwo bad I feel when I cheat... and then I realize if I am cheating and don't feel like crap- I haven't been on plan much either... if that makes any sense... You will be great, come monday I will be cheering you on!!!!!!!!


          I just got home from the gym, I didn't stay on the treadmill as long as the past 3 days but I still did it and I was jogging at 6.0 ... I only went .25 miles at a time then .15 it takes time! I think I am goign to try to do the couch to 5k thing...
          foodwise- super high fats, I ate out all day today, dinner I am thinking of eating out too because I don't feel like doing a darn thing!!!! lol

            Thanks for the support, Rikki Well day 1 of re-induction is over and done! Though I know days 2 and 3 are generally much harder, so I gotta stay motivated!! One day at a time, one minute at a time!! One thing that is helping me, I think, is trying to find motivations other then my wedding, things that are quite a few months down the road. That way I don't get stressed and overwhelmed feeling like I have to lose it all NOW or never! Anyway, even if I only lose 5 pounds between now and then I'd much rather start losing again then continue gaining!! So we'll see..

            Sounds like you're doing great, you are totally rocking that treadmill!! I can't believe how fast you are going! Maybe I should try to go faster, I think I'm scared to go past 4.0.

              Hi Mary- glad to see you did well on day one! I actually am down to an all tiem low I think! I weighed in this morning at 192.8! I am very excited!
              You are sooo right, even if its slow going(believe me, I know how that is!) It is still better than gaining!!!!!
              I am trying to slow down a bit on teh treadmill per Sarahs advice for a while. I am going to try to run linger distances at a slower pace. I am going with 4.5 tonight I think! I always think though, the faster I go the quicker I can get that .5mi over with~! LOL... I will try to go slower for linger tonight though...
              I don't know whats for dinner here- what are you having?!

                Congrats on being at your lowest that is totally cool!!! You've been working so hard and for so long for it, you totally deserve to feel great about it!!

                Well day 2 is done and over with, woo! But day 3 has always been the hardest for me - that's when my body really kicks into sugar withdrawal, wish me luck!!

                In an effort to motivate myself I thought I would take a step back and look at some progress pictures, here's a recent pic of me and my fiance. (He's been on atkins the whole time i've been atkinsing - thank goodness because it would be soooo hard if he weren't!!)
                Might be a little hard to see the "during" pic, was a little blurry



                Hope everyone is having a great day. I'm off to bed and then I have to face Day 3... Can't wait until this week of re-induction is over!

                  WOW- what an incredible difference Mary! You are a true inspiration!!!!!! You can do it! BUST through day three and tomorrow will be a breeze!

                      Thanks for the kind words to both of you, I was a bit nervous posting that picture Must get through today, can't go back to where I was in that picture!!!

                      I had a dream last night that I was being tempted by these donuts someone had bought, and I kept telling myself in my dream "no I can't screw up on Day 3, just need to get past today!!" lol. So I did well in my dream, hopefully the same will follow suit in reality!

                          Well, from the sounds of it....I need to plan an exciting trip to be part of this group! I can see why that would be good incentive. Unfortunately, the only trip I have coming up is leaving today for "OHIO" - not exciting at all and a little too soon. I'll have to talk to my DH about that.

                          I always get my water intake in on the days I work out and have trouble on the days I don't. Please feel free to berate me when necessary. Yesterday was a good day - but being stuck in a car for 8 hours will be harder.

                              Carol - thanks for the encouragement!! What state do you live in? Where in Ohio are you headed? I lived in Michigan most of my life and went to Ohio for a lot of vacations growing up so it just piqued my curiosity

                              Well today was Day 4 and it wasn't any easier then Day 3!! I can't remember how it was the first time around, it might have taken me a week to get my appetite under control, I don't know. I just know that I keep eating too much!!! Stuck to mostly legal induction foods, though I did sneak in a few pecans (not too horrible though, but I promise not to do it anymore!!). I just hate the feeling of not being able to control my appetite.. I keep eating when I'm not even hungry!! I know the feeling of control will return, I just hope it returns soon!! I did manage to exercise today again finally - it did make me feel better. I think I need to start doing that every day first thing so I can get that energy and confidence boost right away.

                              Tomorrow my mother is flying in for a visit, she's coming down to help me pick out a wedding dress, but honestly the thought of trying on wedding dresses makes me sick to my stomach. I went about a month ago and tried a few on, and thought I looked decent, but that was at my lowest weight.. I hope I can at least fit into the same size dress.. I'll be so depressed if the same dress doesn't even fit....

                              Anyway I'm sorry if I've sounded negative or depressed lately, I've just been having a real hard time of it lately, but I know It'll get better.. I just need to trust the process and get my appetite back under control!

                              Not sure if I'll be able to post much for a few days since my mother will be in town and we have a few days at the beach planned. At least she's dieting too, so we have some healthy things planned while she is here, like walking at the park and such.. anyway hopefully I will have some good things to report when I get back.. I really need to get out of this depressed funk it is not doing me any good!! I really appreciate everyone's support here though

                                Mary- I know exactly how you feel. I think we have switched shoes from teh past couple of months! I was like that , feeling bad, I could't get under control. For some reason I am able to control myself better now. You have come so far and are getting soooooo close to goal!You have lost almost 100lbs!!!! 80 anyway- that means you only have 1/4 of it to go! You CAN do this! I know it! YOu are a very strong woman and have come so far and I am sooooooo proud of you. You have helped me sooo much to get on track! I know we can do this!!!!!! Please check in and let me know how you are doing asap!


                                This morning I weighed in at 189.8!!!! I couldn't believe it! My goal was 190 for tanning visits and I am already there!!!! WOW~ I may wait until Monday to start going, who knows!!!! Yippee!!!!
