I've been cheese-free since Jan 16, 2006. Still going strong!! Count me in!

        This is great!

We have a few cheesoids on board now!

I have to admit, I did miss it the first few days, but after I started feeling better, I made giving it up that much easier! Think of it as "cheese-induction flu" or something like that.

Maybe if it were posted what negetive side effects of cheese can do or just personal effects when going off cheese. It might make it easier to try and cut it out (for me anyways).

            Thanks

              My personal Experience with cheese.

I think I've always had an addiction to cheese. There are these Kraft cheese sticks here in Australia. I can eat a whole packet of 12 in one sitting. It's like a compulsive behaviour.
Pizza used to be a big trigger/comfort food prior to low carb.

You have to be concerned with any food that is resulting in you being compulsive

For all of my adult life I have been getting zits. Constants zits all over my body.

Since giving up cheese, my skin has really cleared up. My Zits are gone.

I am also sleeping much better. Up till now I have been suffering from sleep apnea.

The last week or so I have had a very deep sleep. Not waking up in the middle of the night. I've been sleeping on my back and not waking up with headaches !
The thing is I had sleep apnea at a lower weight than I am now. Maybe there is a link to cheese ?

I remind everyone that this challenge is completely voluntary. I would prefer people eat cheese, if it helps them stay on Atkins!

Well I failed yesterday..... I was doing so well haven't had cheese since Monday so I thought it was in the bag to go yesterday cheese free. Made chicken for DH last night and put some grated parm. on top.....it wasn't even my dinner (I had fish) but I grabbed a few pieces and munched and thought...Uggggggggggggg I'm eating cheese!

Well today is another day.......I will try harder today to go the whole day.

Hey Dave, sorry to hear you fell off YUP, dust off and jump back on.

I did really well until last night.......then had about 2 oz of cheese. Grrrrrrrrr This stuff is so addictive to me.......but each day we stay away we get stronger (well at least thats what I'm hoping .....and I'm telling myself ).

Here's to staying cheese free today! We can do it!

I has some cheese lasy night and a big meal,

so I had Sleep Apnea for the first time in a month or so

I have made a firm reolve to give up all Dairy for the rest of my life starting today: 10/02/2006.

I am reading a low Carb book called NeanderThin. It is an awesome book! It's a low carb program that is like Atkins but without cheese!
