Any one know how to make a graphic? I REALLY REALLY want to make one, but have NO idea how! Any info is great...I have 2 I need to make and I know I will enjoy doing it, but I havn't gotten a clue as to where to start.

Okay I decided 140 might be to much to go for. I think my spring challenge is going to be 144. That will be 9lbs to go. I know your weight loss slows down a little and that is more reasonable. I think I wikk shoot for 140 for easter. Thanks for all the support guys I don't think I could do this without all of you guy's.

Sounds good Shelly30. I am glad you are picking a number that is obtainable. What is the worst that will happen by setting a realistic goal?? You will exceed your expections and surpass your goal...I am sure you could live with that! LOL!
I am leaning towards shooting for 175...that is 10 pounds from today. So it sounds like something I should be able to reach...LOL...though, mind you I picked 10 pounds to lose for the Valentine's Day challenge and still have 5 to go on that and only 10 days...LOL...think I will make it? I highly doubt it.
The thing that scares me about picking a certain number for this one is that I have a girls 4 day weekend coming up that has for the past 5 years involved chocolate, booze, cheesecake tarts and junkfood. I am not sure how I am going to handle it. That starts March 8 so need to come up with a plan. And that will only leave me 2 weeks to fix any damage occured then....LOL. I am nervous about it.

Elsie you will be able to make it throught the four days, I know it. I also have the same dilema though, my birthday is March 9th and that could mean cake, and cake is my weakness! I think any weight loss on a goal is a sucsess. 5lbs is great ecspecialy when you measure the inches. Last time I was on Atkins I was so much into the scale and what the scale said, and this time I am about half and half with measuring and weighing, which I did not measure last time. It makes you feel better if you did'nt lose any pounds but you lost 7 inches!

Yes..it is weird how you can lose inches but not weight! A proven Atkins fact for sure.
I am pretty sure that I can be okay except for the booze part. For the junk food I can always bring porkrinds. I haven't had any since starting this WOE as I am afraid it is a trigger food for me. But they would be much better than the chips everyone else will be eating. And if I only bring 2 bags (cause I gotta share) then it is portion controlled as we will be far from town (we scrapbook that weekend) at a friends house. As for the tarts...I could make something else to bring...or just avoid them...not too big of a deal there. Chocolate...I am deciding if I should bring a couple of those low carb bars as back up in case I feel like caving in or if I shouldn't... And the booze I really need to come up with a plan for. It is hard to avoid that one as we have to do a shooter for each page of an order we did and if we were the big spender on that page. It is too late...I am sure I was a big spender on some of the pages...LOL! As for the rest of the food we pay some $$ to the hostess and eat what she serves...so....you can see why I am nervous!

I would suggest bringing lots of stuff you can eat, like deviked eggs and i know the low carb choclate is not good fot this woe, but in a stituation like that it will statify your choclate craving and make you feel not so left out by not eating the other stuff that is really bad for you. i eat the low carb choclate sometimes when i get a big craving for sweets and it helps, I know this is not true for everyone and it can lead to worse food cravings, but fortunaly for me it does not. I have gotten away from that stuff almost 100% but fro the first couple of weeks of atkins it is like a weaning process for me. As for alchohol, maybe if you have to do it get a lo carb drink. I'm sure the hostess would understand you bringing some of your own stuff. Just explain how important this WOE is to you.

Yeah...that is kinda what I am thinking. Pay her my money and then bring my own stuff anyway. She will not be offended as she is a good friend. I could ask her to make things that I could eat but I don't think that that is fair as the meals are planned to be easy for the hostess so she doesn't have to stop scrapping and having fun to cook..so it is usually things like casseroles and lasagna..that sort of thing. Definitately nono's for me. And also my SIL/Bestfriend/Diet Buddy is going to be there as well and she is doing low fat. So that wouldn't be fair to her either. The booze thing....I'm a liquer gal myself...preAtkins...love that sugar...so will have to think of something that is low carb and easy to get down...LOL! It will stop the fat burning but just until the booze is out of the system is my understanding. Hmmm...maybe margarita's?? Shoot tequila...oh...that gives me shivers even thinking about it...LOL!
