    Hello my friends! I am back from my scrapbook weekend...did ya miss me?? LOL! Am just going to jump right back in right here. Hope everyone is doing well.

    It went really well. I had more trouble with food the week before going. Bought 4 bags of pork rinds (first time buying them since starting last August as I was afraid they would be a trigger food) and of course....ate them all before I even left!!! 1 bag a day in one sitting!!! So scary to know that the binge monster still hasn't died in me :^(!!! I was just feeling sooo hungry that week. Self sabatoge maybe as I really wanted not to gain anything as I was seeing my girlfriend who I hadn't seen in a year and who I hadn't told I was losing weight. Had even told everyone else not to mention it if she didn't notice. So..anyway...week before I left I was eating like crazy.

    She noticed as soon as I opened the door. Wasn't even fully out of the van before she said anything. It was soooo cool. I did feel bad for my SIL/best friend/diet buddy because even though she has lost 40 pounds...only 17 pounds less than me..for some reason it is not as noticeable on her than me. So mixed feelings of being proud of myself and having my ego stroked by my buds and feeling bad that it wasn't happening for her too! So funny how much trouble people have accepting that I can eat fat and lose. As I sit there drinking my decaf coffee and whipping cream eating cheese and nuts....LOLOL!

    Food wise I did really good. Had to go and buy 4 more bags of pork rinds for the trip and we ended up not even finishing one of them...I had either pigged out enough the week before or the joy was sucked out of eating them because I could have them if I wanted...LOL! Did do a bit of drinking...Long Island Icetea and Diet Coke. Stayed totally legal on the meals. I also ate lots of nuts.

    So I can't wait to see the pictures and compare them to last years when I was at my heaviest. Going from the digital pictures on the camera though I think I am having trouble 'seeing' me without the fat glasses as I don't like any of them. SIL is feeling the same and I think her pictures are great!

    Weigh in for me is Thursday..so we will see what the official damage is then. Hopefully TOM is over by then. When is the last weigh in day for the challenge????

      Glad to hear your trip went so well! Last day of this challenge is the 20th but we are deciding on a new date for the next round if you are interested!

          (((((Jo))))) Don't tret, I still have almost 10 pounds to go!!! Ugh, another challange I won't make...LOL

          (((((Heather))))) What is it with our scales lately?? Jezzz, I think these tings went on strike or something....

          (((((Allie))))) I am so glad you're getting a break1 It's about time! LOL That's so great with that walking!!! You go girl!!! I do the same thing w/ weight when I start exercising. It will go away, I promise

          (((((Elsie))))) We missed you so much! Sounds like you had a blast! I am so glad. Great Job staying legal. That's so awesome. You must be so proud of yourself!!! WE would love to see a pic!

          I had a good day yesterday. I hung out with a great friend of mine and went tanning, ran to Borders, and got more Baby food. It was so beautiful outside, too!!! It was so nice.

          My weight has been p!ssing my off lately. I think I am allergic to ACV. ANYTIME I use it to kill the yeasties, I gain right away and stall. I had jumped right back to 165.6! I stopped taking it for the weekend and yesterday I was back at 163.8. Weird, eh? I am not so sure about these yeasties. I haven't been to the DR, so I haven't been "officially", but I failed the spit test...so who knows. I am going to stop the regimine, and just eat KISS. I'll starve them and not compromise my weight loss.

          OKay, on a lighter note .....
          I wa thinking, since their are a few of you dealing w/ TOM, we can push the weigh in to the 24th. That way, everyone has a chance to get rid of this damn water weight. What do you guys think?? I know an extra 1/2 a week couldn't hurt, right?!?

          Also, do you guys want a long challenge, or a short challenge??
          May 1st is well, just May 1st, but a good month 1/2 away..
          May14th is Mothers Day, 2 months away...
          May 29th is Memorial Day...

          Longer would be:
          June 21st is the first day of summer
          4th of July, that's like 4 months away.

          I am game for whatever you guys want. I personally like shorter challanges, b/c they keep me motivated, ya know? Just lemme know what you guys wanna do, and we will set it up!

              yEA! 162.4 this morning! I knew it was that damn apple cider vinegar messing me up!! I won't make goal, but at least I figured this out, and I tried my hardest!!!

                Good Morning!!!

                Hey Steph....my vote is to leave the challenge date to end when it is supposed too since there will always be someone dealing with TOM issues no matter when...so more fair to leave it at the date set and deal with it. JMO though and I will go with group decision no problem.

                I also vote for May 14th..because May 15th is my birthday....LOL! But not picky on it. I DO like the shorter ones better than the longer ones. I think it holds people's attention better. Again...JMO.

                  I agree, I like the shorter ones better. I personally like May 14th, Mothers day b/c thats my second Mother's Day ever!! Last year Joey was not even 2 months old yet, so this is my first REAL mother's day, having been a Mom for a whole year! It's so very exciting! Either way, That's one of my mini goals anyway..see look at my siggy

                  You are right Elsie. The faster we finish this one, the sooner we can start a new one! I dealt w/ TOM the first 2 1/2 weeks of this challenge and it sucked The show must go on, though.

                    Mother's day sounds good to me. That's just two weeks away from my beach vacation so I will need a kick a$$ goal and results by then!!

                    YAY jsj - you are really dropping the weight woman. Don't hog it...The scales have been laughing at me for a few days now!

                      Okay then, everyone in favor of Mother's Day Challenge Say "I"....

                      I want 135 by then. I think I can do 3 pounds a week. I dunno, you thinking that's too much wishful thinking?

                      I know I can hit 135 by then IF I can hit 145 by 4/22. I guess we'll see. I think we should incorperate some type of exercise into this next one, what do you guys think??

                        I say we make two goals for this challenge: 1) reasonable weight loss 2) some sort of reasonable exercise...like maybe total minutes no matter what you are doing machine/lifting/walking/jogging etc. That would be so easy to keep up with and yet still so motivating, don't you think?

                          Well, Just thoght I would post in here quickly to let you guys (my extended family!) know where I am at and what I am doing. I am in dire need for a change. I feel the need for greater restriction in my diet. I have been sabotaging myself lately by binging on legal foods. Long story short, I am doing weight watchers right now. I thought it over for a while and I feel I need the greater structure right now as to portions and control. I appreciate everyones help here and I hope you understand, I don't even really understand right now but I just need a change. I have been cycling over and over with atkins, and am sure I am not done with it for the longhaul, but I hope you all understand my need for change. I wish everyone luck and I am sure I will talk at yall later! I will be back!
                          BTW, I am still exercising and drinking my water!

                                Sounds like Mother's day might be it. Steph are you going to start it up after this one?? You have done a great job with this one...I think you should.
                                Hmmm...two challenges for the next one....then I will have to confess to not exercising yet...Shhh...don't tell.

                                Steph...I am not saying it can't be done...but 3 pounds a week when you are getting so close to goal may not be realistic. You may want to look at 1 pound a week or 1.5 if you want to push yourself a little. JMO....and of course I will not be offended if you don't take it.

                                Cypress...where are you going for your vacation?

                                Hey Rikki...don't feel you have to leave. Are you doing the point thing? Are you doing the low carb one or the regular one?? We're here for you.
