Everyone tells me that when you're not losing pounds you should pull out the tape measure. Did you take measurements when you started this diet? If not, do it now! When you see a difference there, you'll be as motivated as you would by stepping on the scale and seeing a loss. Sometimes adding in a few more of the good carbs also works - jump starts your body somehow!

        HI EVERYONE!!!!!
Since my last post I have been doing pretty well sticking to the plan. I have had some thing alittle higher in carbs then I should but not much.

Since I had my daughter get the scales out of hiding, I have pretty much been on them every day. When I weighed the 16th I was at 257, today when I weighed I was at 253. And I havent done any exercise. Seems like when I take a short break 4-5 days of no exercise I drop some lbs.. I don't know I don't really get it.

Ron I understand I like to see the scale move to. But you know your losing if you clothes are feeling looser, so that is good. Measuring is a good thing like yankee said. I was going to measure, but cant find the tape. And even though my scale is moving my clothes dont really feel all that different. But remember your building muscle, muscle weighs more than fat, and muscle burns more calories than fat.

Ok enough for today, I am going to head over to the before and after pics to get some motivation going for me today!
