Hey ladies, all is busy I am sure with this holiday weekend. But, had to post a picture of my new pup. He was 4 weeks old Friday, we went for a visit..

On and more on topic, I havent been on the the scales in over a week. Don't know if I will make it on before surgery Wed. Will see

Hi bjs.....so cute! I've been thinking of you with your surgery looming. You will be just fine, and it will all be over with. Then you can go home and try to rest yourself with that new puppy!!!!!!! LOL! Take good care of yourself and don't even worry about what you weigh until after the surgery.

Bjs, that puppy is soooooooooooo adorable. I'll bet he has that awesome puppy breath smell too!! I'm sure I'll see you around here before your surgery, but if not, you'll be in my thoughts!!

Lol Joy- you got it .. My friend and I were cahtting aabout that after or last visit. She bought Ozzy's sister. We were discussing the puppy breath... Brutal.....they are soo funny right now, so clumsy trying to play, and falling all over . Breath mints are in order. Kimo's breath was bad, but what is with thtat puppy breath-- almost as bad as KETO breath--lol

I will be on before surgery for sure, I will let y'all know when I will be logging off for surgery.

I think puppy breath smells like bologna! Also, I think their feet smell like Fritos! I know I've said this somewhere before, and of course it's all about food, but really, thats what I think! I love puppies!

I love puppies too-- I love dogs....I will have to tell my friend your bologna theory... We have been trying to peg it-- Will have to see if that is it...

I just laughed for hours at Ozzy and his bros and sis.. It was too funny, they are still so clumsy, they poor lady selling the dogs must be so annoyed with us... LOL

Nah-- she is a older singlwe woman, I think she enjoys the company, she invited us back, again.. lol NOt sure if I will make it, giving the fact of my surgery-- Iw ant to bring him home next tiem I go.

We will see--

bjs - That picture of you and Ozzy is absolutely adorable. You look so happy in the picture - how cute!

I love the way puppy's smell. Cookie was four months old when I picked her up, So, she was already a bit older, but she was still under 2 pounds. I smelled her all the time then - I Still do in fact...lol.

Hope you're all ready for your surgery bjs. How long will you be in the hospital?

I will be in the Hospital 3-5 days Cher-- Bleh.. I want out as soon as possible...

I just think people recover so much better at home. You can rest!!!! We will see what it all brings. I am sure I will have plenty of time to post once I am home. I will be at home the 1st week home, then hubby goes back to work, so I am going to spend the second week at camp with my parents. Then, I should be able to drive and be feel ing better, and will not have to be babysat..lol

I'm saddened to say we have to put our dog to sleep today. She has stopped eating entirely and has possible tumors in both her gallbladder and her bladder. Here's her last picture.

If you all will please excuse me today, I won't be visiting until tomorrow.

Bjs, if I don't see you before you leave, take it easy and stay healthy.

Ms. Sophie Brenda was a great dog, may she rest in peace.

Oh Silly, I am so sorry to hear the news about your baby Ms. Sophie Brenda. I can't believe this is happening again. First bjs and now you. What a beautiful dog... She looks like a lion, like royalty. What type of a dog is she?

Silly, I am so sorry. I jsut recently had to do this as well. It is not easy, my heart still aches, I still sometimes cry at night and when I come home ....

He always would gret me, and we spent our evenings together playing.

Home just isnt the same without him. I can fully understand your sadness, I hope you feel better SOON..

Morning Girls,

Well, I am up-- been up since 4 am , t hink the nerves are starting. I have a busy family day at camp planned today. Then to the hospital at 5 am in morning so I am not sure if I wll get a chance to post again, before my surgery. I am hoping to get on tonight when I get home from camp, but I dunno.

Thank you all for your support and well wishes. I will be sure to post when I get home. Hopefully,Satruday, maybe Monday.

Thanks you guys. It was very hard,but she was really sick and took a bad turn in the last few days. She's a Keeshond. We used to have 2 choc labs and 2 keeshond, but she was the last of the group. DH does not want a new dog, I told him I'd be willing to try it, but if I need a new dog, well there's not much he can say about it. There's a pet fair at our park soon and I will be going to it.

Bjs – I’m thinking about you and hoping that everything is going well with your surgery. I hope we hear from you soon. I started feeling sick right after the fireworks so I didn’t get to post much that night, but, I’ve been praying for you!

Silly – I know that I’ve heard of Keeshonds before, but, I just don’t remember seeing one. DBF was even commenting on how beautiful she was. I know how your hubby feels, when I lost Sunshine Marie, more affectionately known as “Sunnie”, I didn’t think I could get another one. But, then plans came for Cookie. First I was given her LV carrier as a gift in preparation for her arrival. Then we picked her name. Which was going to be Farrah Fossie but changed when we met her. Then, we selected her. She almost died from a parasite the second week that we had her. She had to stay at the hospital at 1 ½ pounds and that’s when I knew she was mine. It took $2500.00 to save her (after her original breeders fees). All I knew was that I wanted her saved… no matter what the cost was! They almost lost her hat night… by morning she was officially my baby!

As much as I loved Sunnie, as great as she was... Cookie is like a "real" baby to me. I can't believe how much joy Cookie brings me... she really doesn't know she is a doggie -- we never tell her...lol!
