    Good morning all!

    Christine - Congrats on the 2 pounds! You are doing so well!

    Princess - How's it going. The first days back on are always the toughest.

    Cristy - That cauliflower looks great. I had the Cauliflower fried "rice" last night. It was SOOO good. DH loved it too and he's not doing Atkins.

    Kat - You always make me smile. You seem to be happy all the time and I love people like that. The girls I work with can be very negative sometimes and that can really bring you down.

    I rode my bike last night for the first time in about 8 years! I went a couple of miles and could have gone more. The kids and I will go again tonight and look forward to hitting the trails this weekend.

    I got great news yesterday. I am going to Vegas in November! I've never been before and I can't wait. I would LOVE to be able to drop at least 15 more pounds by then. I am really gonna give it my all.

      hi girls
      ive been feeling kinda yucky since getting up this morning.
      Im soo tired,i dont want to eat or drink in fact i feel like i could just go right back to bed and sleep it off until tomorrow.
      My youngest son was like this yesterday after coming back from out of school care,he slept for a couple of hours then seemed to be fine after.Im hoping it will pass soon.

      At least i will be certain to stay cheatfree today if i cant get any food down,but i really need to try and get some fluids in as im feeling quite dehydrated at the moment.

      hope everyone is having a better day than me today.

        Well, another exciting day ahead! I can't wait until I'm able to look back and think that I'm so glad that I got this part of my life behind me. This occupies so much of my thoughts I wonder what I will worry about next?


        LOL- Kat...that is almost the same conversation I had with my husband last night. I have to admit that this WOE and WOL occupy pretty much most of my thoughts. I think because I just want to make sure I am doing everything right so I will have the best possible results. I swear sometimes I think about it every second of every minute of every hour of every day!!!! LOL

        I am happy to report that I am still cheat free. Last night we went to my in-laws for my FIL's birthday. I sat at the table while (1 people around me ate birthday cake and ice cream. 2 months ago I would be pigging out on it too but it didn't bother me at all...however what did bother me was some of my FIL's cousins and friend found out I was on Atkins and decided to put their two cents in. I politely acknowledged what they were saying then focused my attention elsewhere. They kept right on talking like an attemt to start a debate until my husband chimed in and said that so far I have lost 20 pounds and I am doing great...FINALLY that shut them up!!!!

          Cristy, you can do this. Try to just do it day-by-day and not worry about the week, the month, etc. Just make a commitment for today -- that is all. For one day of your life can you eat on this plan? Don't worry about tomorrow.

          Saty, I couldn't agree with you more...I started back on this program due to chatting with Mari and then I joined this challenge because of Mari's influence. It has kept me going -- besides, I love Christine's buttons and love getting a new one every day!! Woo Hoo!

          P.S. Maybe the BF doesn't realize what he's doing...(playing with fire, ay?) He might need a gentle reminder?

            Wow! You have really lost steady since you went on OWL. How many pounds did you lose on Induction (& weeks) versus pounds lost on OWL (& weeks)? Some of the newbies would probably be interested in seeing how you've done too. (If you have time to post this.)

            I think it is so exciting that you've lost so well! Keep up the good work!!

              Okay, let's see;

              I lost 12 pounds during my two week induction.
              I stayed on induction for another week and lost 2 pounds.
              I lost 4 pounds during the two weeks I was on rung 1
              I lost 5 pounds during the two weeks I was on rung 2
              I've lost 6 pounds in the two weeks I've been on rung 3.

              I'm pretty sure I'll be moving on to rung 4 come Monday. I'd like to stay there for awhile.

              My workout program is pretty pathetic to be honest. I exercise for at least 30 minutes every single day, but it's usually just walking. Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday are my big walking days. I average at least 2 hours of walking on those days, sometimes up to 4 hours (but that's not as often)

                      Leah – Good bye cookie and hello yummy, healthy food. Welcome back on the wagon. Sounds like you have a day filled with good food planned.

                      Kat – Your DH sounds like tons of fun. I would love to see the “moon time” picture. That would be hilarious!
                      You know, dieting and losing weight used to take up so much room in my mind too and I was always planning what I should eat, etc. I don’t really do that anymore. Maybe because I’m comfortable with Atkins and don’t plan on changing, I dunno. I do still plan meals occasionally, just to make sure I have everything, but I know I don’t need to be so occupied with it. You’ll definitely get to a point where the only thing you’re worrying about is the best way to make your DH laugh!

                      Jess – Congrats on still being cheat-free! You’re doing great! We all say something a little different when we check in, but saying you’re still cheat-free is a good way to go.

                      Cristy – Have whip, will travel… The next time you disappear on us, we’re going to hunt you down on the board and whip you back here. You can do this, there’s no hopefully about it. Congrats on being another day cheat-free. Make a goal for say 1 week and then when you hit it, increase your goal. It seems to get easier each week.

                      Mari – I really like you post to Cristy! I’ll even rep you on it as soon as I get thru spreading some more love around.

                      Saty – You’re right! This is an excellent challenge! That bad BF. I think he needs a gentle reminder too. You could have a little fun with him and just pick up the cake and playfully shove it in his face, then start wrestling around and you’ll both burn some calories!

                      Christine – WOOHOO 2 pounds gone! You are doing excellent! I’m waiting to hear the answers to Kat’s questions.

                      Kislandmom – Good job on the bike riding! We always take our bikes with us camping, but they never get out of the truck, so excellent on dusting them off.
                      I think you can definitely lose 15 pounds for Vegas! Sounds like tons of fun!

                      Sharon – Hope that you get to feeling better soon! Try to get something down, it should help you feel a bit better.

                      Roxy – Way to go to the hubby for sticking up for you! Sometimes that the hardest thing for them to do when it comes to their family. Hope you gave him extra kisses! Very proud of you for passing up any and all temptations they threw at you. You’re doing so well!

                      Ok, so where’s Star, Terry, Tommy, Dolphin, Booklady and Mandilee? They seem to have deserted us.

                      I’m doing very well. Exercising consistently and eating right. My DH made me teary this morning. We always email each other in the morning just to say ‘good morning’ and today he replied with “Oh, I know I never say things like this to you, but I am proud of what you are accomplishing by working out and eating better. “ That just completely made my day.

                      Ok, I’ve managed to type a book, so I’ll be done for now. Hope ya’ll have a most excellent day!

                            Roxy, sometimes I wonder what life would be like if I wasn't always blaming things on my weight or worrying about how much I weigh every single day of my life. It seems that it would be like a weight lifted off my shoulders!!

                              Wow! Something you're doing is working VERY WELL for you! You are having excellent results! I bet you can't believe how you have lost consistently while adding more foods into your diet. That is amazing! I was always afraid of adding more carbs thinking it would make me gain, but you have blown away that theory!!
