I've been feeling drained today, all day I've had such a tough day our AC at the house went out it's been HE double hockey sticks trying to get a AC service in the middle of texas weather... I've been on /off the phone all day... I didn't have breakfast and haven't even had a chance for lunch yet.. I had water and green tea all day and it's almost 3! An hour more till i go home, I know this is bad.. just a bad day.. but I will not cheat... everyone keep it up!

Hey, guess what? I realized that I have been eating more carbs than I thought I was eating. I have just started measuring EVERYTHING and entered the info on FitDay and it's doing the calculating for me. I am still pretty slow at it but I think I will get the hang of it soon.
Here's to cooler weather and smaller bodies in the fall .

Doing good. I had some pepperoni and cheese—I cut it small enough to fit the pepperoni, btw I never ate pepperoni except for on a pizza, I hope all is well. La La I loooove chili!! especially when its really hot and spicy!!! But 5.5 miles girl, that's excellent!!!! Keep up the good work La!!
I feel you Rosa, the exercise is something I gotta do to, but sweating in this heat should help.

I've been moving and groving and I've lost 5lbs since I last posted here!!
I have 20 more to go until my birthday goal, and 2 months to do it.
I know it's a long shot....but I'm going to work hard for it! I've got a "plan" for my eating/exercise routine and that makes it easier. Not to say it will be "easy" I've got two hard weekends to work though. This weekend I'll be attending a wedding out of town (I'll be packing the cooler and using the hotel fitness center) and Labor day weekend I'm out of town visiting friends and we're going to an Italian festival!!
I think I'm going to switch my birthday reward. I originally said new exercise videos, but I forgot that was my current 10lb loss reward. So....for losing 13lbs total and getting down to 200 I'm going to reward myself with new videos now!!! Any suggestions on some good ones?? I have slim in six, slim series, windsor pilates, and several tae bo tapes.
I am still cheat free but have not lost anything in a while. I REALLY don't think I am going to make my goal. I am upping the exercise as well and started the abs challenge for august.
But remember....if you reach for the moon and you fail....you might just end up among the stars! (or something like that )
If you give yourself a difficult goal, you are going to work harder to achieve it. If you just say "I'd like to lose 2lbs before my birthday", unless you only have 5lbs left to lose, you can do a lot of slacking off and still achieve that goal, know what I mean?
Just work as hard as you are capable of working and enjoy your birthday

Dot - you are so close I bet you can taste it (so to speak).
My scale has still not budged but I got out and walked today and did 75 situps on my lunch break. I also drank a whole gallon of water today. I just know that scale is gonna move any day now!!!
