    Congrats Julie. Great job on all those inches lost to date!

    Joy, wow! You're ars look fabulous. Absolutely no flab. You gotta tell us your secret.

    I'm starting on Rung 2 today ladies. I'm so nervous like the way I was when I moved on to OWL. So wish me luck on continued weight loss.

      Elsy, weight training. If you want an exercise that will change the shape of your body....lift weights. Congratulations on moving up into Rung 2. That's dairy. Mmmmm, dairy!

      Cottage cheese, ricotta cheese, yogurt. That's what I added for dairy...Oh, and Calorie Countdown milk or just whole milk. I started out adding cottage cheese with tomato sauce over zucchini "noodles" for a lasagne-ish type dish. Then I started using ricotta. Then I added the low carb yogurt...but I actually prefer now the Greek Yogurt. OMG that is sooooooooooo good.

        hi all

        my weight is still the same. im so close to my goal i can taste it. maybe in another week or so i'll hit it. i started doing arm exercises with a 2lb weight to try to tone up my arms. if anyone has advice on toning arms i need it or i might fly away soon with these wings.

            Thanks for the tips Joy. It's greatly appreciated.

            I have a question for you or Julie or anyone else who knows the answer. I know Julie suggested to stay on each Rung anywhere between 2-4 weeks before moving on. O.k., so I stayed on Rung 1 for 3 weeks, eating bewtween 20 - 25 carbs a day, and now moving on to Rung 2 today. The question is: Can I add the 1/2 cup of cottage cheese to my 3 1/2 cups of veggies and stay withing the 25 carbs? Or do I cut back to 3 cups of veggies plus the 1/2 cup of cottage cheese?

                O.k. results for this week. No weight loss, in fact still holding a couple of pounds since my lost weekend! Its crazy that go have a couple of cheats can have such a negative impact on my loss. 7lbs seems a crazy amount considering that I didnt go mad. But at least the scale is moving back towards what I was two weeks ago. I've lost 4 of those pesky pounds. I'm not going to add any pounds onto my siggy, just leave it as it is until I get back to 221. Hopefully by next Mon I'll be back to that weight. I think as long as I stick to what I'm doing - and I am 100% back on track, those 3lbs will go.

                Anyhow - results! Good news is that I have had inch loss, despite the issue with the scales!

                  Elsy--keep eating the level of veggies that you had been eating and add the 5 net carb of dairy to that. You don't have to cut back the veggies (IMO). I doubt very seriously that your CCLL is as low as 25 or 30. But, if you are worried about that, you could leave your carb count at 25 when you add dairy by cutting the veggies back 5 grams to compensate. Whatever makes you comfortable.

                    ThePerfect, that's great that you still lost inches. Keep it up. Glad to see you posted pics. I got rid of mine cuz it wasn't a good pic. Too far. I'll get another one soon.

                    Julie, yes, I did saw that you replied to my other thread concerning this issue. I know you had thoroughly explained this before and I thought I had it down packed, but now that I was ready to move on, I got confused. Sorry! Thanks for explaining it again.

                    Joy, I don't think my CCLL is that low either since I did lose 2.5 lbs last week. I will keep my 3 1/2 cups of veggies and just add the 5 carbs of dairy. I'll make it a point to eat 25 carbs a day this week, nothing lower, and then see if I lost. Otherwise, I will have to go back and cut back.

                    O.k, I feel better now. I'm off to enjoy my cottage cheese. Yums, I love it.

                          No kidding you all. I still have 7.5 lbs to lose. It seems impossible now that I'm on Rung 2. I don't know Julie, but I don't think my body is liking this. I feel really fat. I'm having second thoughts about having moved so soon.

                            If you feel uncomfortable with dairy, hang out on RUNG 1 for a while, and increase your veggie carbs each week. There's no crime in taking OWL slowly!

                              The only thing I added was the 1/2 cup of cottage cheese two days in a row (Mon and Tues). Today, I decided not to eat it. I read somewhere to eat new foods no more than 3 times a week, so I'm gonna have my last serving later on in the week. On Friday if the scale didn't move, I'll cut it out completely and just add the extra veggies. The problem is I love all dairy and was really looking forward to it after 9 weeks on Atkins. I wonder if I will ever lose on that Rung? And how will I ever get to Rung 3 if I don't lose in Rung 2? Here I go again....
