    Remember, one week is TOO SHORT of a time to see if something is a staller. Think of how much is happening in a week--water retention, not having a bowel movement, a "heavy" dinner, dehydration, hormones, etc. There are so many factors that can influence the scale. My rule is 2 weeks.

    I can do anything for 2 weeks.


    I said that to myself when I started induction, and look where I am now. I say that to myself WHENEVER I'm scared about adding more carbs, or when I would move up a rung. Remember, this is FOR LIFE, and 2 weeks is miniscule. Do it for 2 weeks, and if it didn't work, now you know, and you can fix it. Give it time, be patient. I bet your body is getting used to this "new" food and will continue to drop those pounds.

    And elsy, did you not SEE the pics of me in my bikini about a month ago? GEEZ! I'm not sure I'm ready to bare that voluptuous tummy I still have.

          My bikini pic is lost somewhere in my journal, from about a month back. I'm posting new ones this weekend for comparison, so you'll only have to wait a couple of days and you'll get to see exactly what every bump and bulge looks like.

          Cross your fingers for me for a great measurement day/weigh-in tomorrow!

              It's got the snarky name of Insert Clever Journal Name Here.

              Everybody comes up with these touching and meaningful and alliterative journal titles...so I just went for the dry humor and figured people could call it what they wanted to.

                Well, I'm done with Atkins Attack challange.

                37.5 inches in 6 weeks...
                12.5 pound weight loss....

                    I'm a little disappointed I didn't see more of a change in pounds. I'll check again tomorrow. I usually have good luck with measurements on Friday, and good luck with pounds on Saturday.

                      CDRake and Julie, you guys both did awesome. Julie, like you've told me before, the meauring tape is our best friend right not the scale. And your friend gave you wondeful news. Great work!

                      And now to my news....

                      Lost 2 lbs this week and 2.5 inches…..Yepeee!!!

                      Lost 24.5 lbs since I restarted Atkins and 23.5 inches
                      Lost 44.5 lbs since I had my baby and 32 inches

                      Julie and Joy know I was really, really scared about moving to Rung 2 and right in the middle of the week I even doubted that my body was agreeing with it, but what do you know.............
                      It's Friday you all and it's a great day to be on Atkins.

                          Hey Julie, I noticed that you multiplied some inches by 2, which totally makes sense to me. I have never done that. I thought we only measure one side of the body and stick to it. Have I been doing this wrong all this time?

                            You guys are doing great! Sorry I've been so absent from this challenge. But, I am doing my measurements (sometimes) and still working towards my 16 pounds. 6 more pounds to go by July 4. Not sure if I'll make it with my recent track record (3 pounds in the last 6 weeks!), but am going to push myself to get there!

                            Elsy, you can multiply by 2 those parts you have 2 of. But, if you haven't been, it's okay. Feel free to start now -- or not. Whichever way you prefer. As long as you're consistent, either way is fine.

                              I'm sorry everyone that I haven't been checking in. I started with this group at 249 lbs, then also joined the Atkins Attack challenge. That got me off the scale, and avoiding this group(afraid I'd cave in by getting on the scale). Now I've weighed in, finished the challenge, and I'm back with a 11 lb weight loss >> YIPEE !!! <<

                              Now I've joined the Stability Ball Excercise challenge, and I have 4 pounds to loose in the next 18 days.
