WOW Paula! You just finished putting the cherry on top of the cake! That's so sweet of you. Thanks.

    No, I'm not 7'10" ..........I'm 5'8"
I guess I should've written a disclaimer. The last time I weighed myself was on Friday, June 22nd and I was 203 then. The following Friday, June 29th, I decided to wait till now. That picture was taken this last weekend so maybe I dropped a couple of pounds by then. Hey, but it's not much of a difference 203 to 201 or 200.4 today. Anyhow, thanks for the compliement.

            Elsy,

Thank you very much. When I had my Mom take these (I could not bring myself to ask my hubby to do it) I cried when I saw them. I mean, I see myself everyday, but there was something about seeing a photo like that which really pushed me to the edge.

It wasn't easy for any of us. You're very brave for doing this, despite being self concious. The woman in those pictures is soon to be replaced by a much smaller and happier woman. Stay strong! We're all in this together!

Ok, I used the fittogether site at Julie's suggestion. Sheesh, they measure everything but brainwaves! I also found out that my body fat is 44.78% and my waist to hip ratio is VERY high risk. <gulp>

I can't wait to see what I can do in 2 months! Hopefully, I'll be able to do something about that "very high risk". It sounds so ominous!

Deb, you are awesome. Do you know how strong you are?! It took me 8 FREAKIN' MONTHS to have the guts to post pics of me in a bikini, and oh my gosh I wish I'd done it in the beginning. You're going to melt before our eyes, and I just know that your transformation is going to be amazing! You will not regret having these "before" pictures, I guarantee it.

When I did post my pics, oh I wanted to cry. But you know what? I turned that "bad" feeling about myself into fierce motivation. I wanted to see some results, and the next time I took pics, I certainly did! Stick with the plan, (and stick with us, because we're a wild and crazy bunch) and you will GET RESULTS.

Oh! One thing about fittogether. That site is great, but sometimes you have to use the old link, like Emma said. It's the same site, two urls. Here are both, just in case one is working one day, and not the next:

Oh, and Mitzi, you're not going crazy! I edited the link for new participants reading that first post.

                              Hello Team Labor Day!

Thank you all for the support! I needed to hear it when I posted those photos. I keep telling myself that someday, I will be glad to have them from way back when.

When my Mom was measuring me, she was like...you have a small a$$, you are just like your Dad! LOL So, I may be fat all over, but apparently I have a small butt. My husband has said that many times (I carry most of my weight like men do...around the middle). She was also impressed with my calf muscles, which have stuck around from playing softball for over 12 years. I love my Mom. She finds the positive in everything.

So to be like my Mom, today I am focusing on my small butt, long curly brown hair (which I love), my blue eyes, and fingernails. I am going to try to find something about me to like each day so the other parts don't overwhelm me.
