That sounds great. Do you mean inspring as in "an incentive type of dream guy" (i.e. hotties) or celebs who have overcome obstacles? I could go either way or both.

Ok. Well I have been inspired by two TV shows. I actually liked The Biggest Loser and was really happy to see everyone did so well. The second is VH1's Celebrity Fit Club. I like the fact that they are still living in their own homes and going to work and are not sheltered as much as the contestants on The Biggest Loser. These aren't exactly people I would model my life after (no celebs are actually--to me). But, they are struggling with their weight and still dealing with the a normal real world around them. I can't say I agree with their eating habits (like when Kim Coles was told to eat less salad--I mean it's salad not a burger and fries) but they are trying and a few are doing ok.Mere

I'm good this week, at least so far I am.
How about new weight counters for this week's assignment? And make them goal specific with a vacation theme. I'll post mine soon.
If you don't already know this, you will have to use an image host like photodump or photobucket. PM me if you have problem. And I'm not quite sure how to make them blink and stuff, but if I figure it out I will tell you that too. Or just use a ticker (like tickerfactory or something). I may do this myself.Mere

today I'm in at 280. >.< I was really hoping to be in the 270's! Maybe next week!
How about listing what you could do right now to make a difference today.
for me:
a.) cut out all sugar alcohols including diet pops
b.) do an extra 5 minutes cardio
c.) spend alittle more time on

I forgot to weigh yesterday, but today I am 208 which although up is not bad considering TOM.
I hope to be down again by Friday when I will see some friends I haven't seen in 3 years!!! I'm so excited, but I don't want to get my hopes up that they're gonna ooh and ahh over me (especially since we'll be there to see another friends baby). Just a second would be nice.
They want to order pizza, so I may make my own or take something else. They are close enough that they won't make fun of me for any odd eating habits.Mere

Oh, well I have my own pizza recipe that really looks like pizza. It uses more flax than is suggested per day but it has a breadier texture and tastes really good. It doesn't take as much cheese as BikerGoddess so I can basically put on all the cheese I want. Plus, I'm not gonna worry about extra fiber at one meal.
It's so hard not to tell my friend how much weight I've lost or send her a pic. I'd rather surprise her. Unless of course our other friend has already told her?? But I don't think she knows.
I'm getting sooo excited.
BTW, this is OT but I finally ran 5K last night (all at once- no breaks to walk). It took me 42:05 but for someone who is still technically obese and used to be really lazy with exercise I think it's pretty good. I've got to find a 5K to run sometime in the spring so I can have a goal to work for. I think I'd like to get my time closer to 30 minutes.Mere
