    How about a fun assignment for the week? I don't know if this is possible, but if the weather is nice, try going outside to exercise. If you don't run, that's ok you can walk. If they weather isn't warm enough yet, just try changing up your routine a bit. I know this may not seem like too much fun, but it may help if you are needing the motivation.

    Ahhhh my weather just WILL NOT IMPROVE! IT WONT GET WARM! I CANT STAND IT!!!!
    I want so badly to just go out for a walk but I don't wanna feel all bundled up in scarves and hats, I want to feel free, wear walking shoes (not boots!)

          No goal, only fun assignment left is to pack, yes there will be some picks!

          • I don't want to change my siggy yet, but when I weighed myself this past friday on my mom's scale it said 205!!!! I'll change it if it says the same today (or if it's anything less than 207.5). I'll share my secret if it wasn't a fluke.

              I haven't posted on tuesday. I doubt I will post tomorrow aswell. My grandfather passed away and was in the hospital 2 weeks before hand so lets just say sticking to it wasn't easy... and honestly, I didn't. Now that the funeral was today, I wont be commuting back and forth so I'm back on track tomorrow.

              • I'm so sorry to hear that. A diet is never convenient when you are under so much stress and I'm glad you put your family and grandfather first. You'll get back on track in no time at all.

                  I just spent a few minutes getting acquainted with this thread and thought... what better way to motivate myself for my birthday vacation than with THIS thread! *Thanks Mere*

                  So here I am... and it is Tuesday (your weigh-in days right?). I will use my Monday weighs since I'm a scale addict and don't want to use this Tues weigh-in as an excuse to weigh again.

                  My trip is June 30 - July 4 to Ft. Lauderdale and Nassau, Bahamas.

                  My goal is to lose 24 pounds by then. CW = 204/GW = 180

                  Wish me luck!!!

                  • Welcome, I'm glad you've joined us. We don't have an assignment this week. And it's pretty much just been Christina and me (until now). You can do the old assignments if you want something to inspire yourself. I'm sure you'll make your 24# goal long before vacation. BTW, I just loved that post about the "Testical Festival" bumper sticker in the Chit Chat forum. I even laughed out loud here at work. Weigh-ins on Tuesday are only if you don't have a regular day, but since you do stick to it.

                      We're right around the same weight, and have similar goals. I would have loved to say 170 but my body usually doesn't like to give up fat very easily. It holds it.... and holds it.... and HOLDS IT! GRRRRR. I consider good weeks to be 2 pounds. I haven't seen anything more than that in awhile... and I've been at blasted 204 for going on a month now. Double GRRRRRR!

                      Ok... let me see if I can catch up w/ the assignments. I'm not sure how to post pics ... here's a link - http://www2.victoriassecret.com/comm...me=OSSWMOPSZZZ. I swear this is the sexiest bathing suit I've ever seen. But with my lower stomach, I won't be able to pull it off. GRRR.... 14 weeks... I need a miracle!

                      • I am such a slow loser too. My goal of 170 probably won't happen so I modified it to say that I would be happy to pack my sister's clothes. She wears anything from an 8 to a 12 depending on brand and cut. My Lane Bryant 14s are loose, so I'm hoping a New York & Co. 14 is just around the corner. I'm really just planning on buying all my clothes from goodwill so that I can give them to the missionaries instead of re-packing everything. At $4 per pair of shorts I'm too blessed not to pass them on. Besides, we are going to be doing VBS and some dirty work (don't know exactly what) so I'm not packing really nice stuff anyways.
                        That bathing suit is awesome. I don't think I could ever wear that. Unless, I was on a secluded beach (with someone I really trusted). Then yeah, I might have the nerve. I'm rediculously modest sometimes, other times I should be a little more modest.
                        This week I am trying something to get my weightloss jump started again, and it's not the stupid fat fast. I'm going to a spin class M, T, W, and Th. Then Friday I will probably just run a couple of miles on the treadmill. I've also upped my water alot. Yesterday I had about 170oz!! It seems to be helping and would be even better if I had not forgotten all my water bottles this morning.
                        My sister and brother will be home in about a month and I would love to be able to wear this new dress I bought while they are hear. It's a 14 (not a Lane Bryant 14 either). It's brown with pink/coral flowers and is so cute. LOL, It's silly how you can get excited about a dress that's still to small when you're using this WOE. The bust of the dress is like the picture, but it is a dress with 3/4 length sleeves in a stretchy kind of material. And the neckline is plain. http://lanebryant.charmingshoppes.co...248&nav=L1

                        I've just blabbed on and on and on. I should try doing some real work.

                          Checking in today at 1.5 pounds lighter. :icondance 22.5 more pounds to my vacation goal.

                          I vow to have a week just like last week as far as eating and exercising. I'm ready for this weight to be GONE.

                          Can't wait to see what I look like at 180. May end up being my goal weight.

                            • I had a cheat this weekend so I'm not gonna even bother with the scale. Good news is that I didn't do so bad that I got all bloated and yucky feeling, just didn't find myself so strict. I'm doing fine now and the scale should move very soon.
