    • I'm in...I was just telling my fiance that I am too obsessed with the scale. I don't want my motivation to slip because of that darn thing so I'm in. today I was 301.5 :anger up from Sunday's 300
      CaGirl1 age 25 5'4 1/2"
      1/24/05 314.5/300/250 first goal
      Restart on Tuesday 2/22/05 - 305/296.5/250 first goal
      3rd Time is a Charm restart Thursday 6/2/05 -
      SW 314.5/ Challenge start weight 305/

      • Welcome cagirl! You got in at a good time. Only 3 days til FRIDAY!!!
        I have a feeling we will start over again after this one week of SUCCESS for all of us staying off the scale.
        Higgies... an idea? Next one lets make a Monday weigh in so there is no conflict for cleo?

          • OK - so I tried the pizza... I didn't really like it !!! But there is a reason for that. I don't like eggs - not at all. So I didn't like the crust all that much. I ate a piece, but I didn't love it. It was way to eggy for me. It almost tasted like a pizza quiche. If I made it again, I would definitely cut back from 4 eggs to 2 eggs. And - I made the entire 9x13 pan, but that was WAY to much. So I would definitely cut the recipe in half next time. So again, instead of 2 eggs when I cut it in half, I would use only 1 egg - does that make sense? It definitely cut the craving for pizza - I added onions and green peppers and it was good !!!

            You should all try it - it isn't bad - I think the rest of you will like it. My problem was just the eggs !!!! And I haven't liked them my whole life !!!

            • yikes i don't know if i can go another week on the NO SCALE challenge this week has been murder!!!!! but i will probably join all of you again because it has been refreshing knowing i am not on the scale everytime i go to the bathroom brush my teeth get a shower and then the occasional i just wanna weigh myself times.....so yah i will join again!!! :icondance :icondance :icondance :icondance :icondance :icondance

              • Alright, I'm checking in, but not happily mind you... I miss the scale! Erg, I can feel the weight coming off and its killing me not knowing how much! 5 days down... 2 to go...
                Starting Weight (01/22/06)-235
                Current Weight (06/27/07)-205
                Goal Weight- 175 (Hopefully by 10/29/07)

                • Way to go ladies! It is tough...I'm feeling skinnier and skinnier every day, and I want to know too! Only one more day now for me (I got no problem staying off after I first wake up).

                      It's gotten easier but I definitely want to weigh myself!! Haven't done it. I am thinking this may be keeping me in line better with my eating also. Not sure why that is, but I feel like I have been more conscious of it this week.
                      And why only 1 more day Higgies? It's Wednesday in Pa too isn't it? LOL. Thought we don't weigh in til Friday this week!?
                      And Cleo :hug Changing to Monday is not that big a deal. If it helps you out, it's all good!

                        • holy cow look at all the posts here! i missed some stuff. i am a member of the hfc and i should get a vote in things! (jimmie crys because nobody included her in the vote) can i stay on my friday day but change it to thursday? remember my sugar buster buddy, thats our weigh in and i will miss it this week, first time in 13 months. (jimmie is asking the head higgies honcho)

                          last night jack weighed for cleo. remember he weighed in for barbiedoll and me. we had gained so much! but friday will show wonderful numbers. okay so last night cleo weighed in at 209. tee hee

                          this is wed. morning and i want to step on the scale just for th heck of it. i told jack last night, give me one good reason not to. ha my ears must have gone closed at that point because i don't know what he told me! but i didn't and won't. couldn't stand the pressure of hurting you guys or disappointing you.
                          but remember, the big challenge here wasn't to lose tons of weight it was to break our habit of scalestepping. we are all hoping for a loss but the deal was to break a habit.
                          long enough post. i will have to check to see if there was anything else i needed to respond to.
