I am up 2.5lbs, that's why :no :sadblinkyOriginally posted by jimmie 48i'm surprised that diesel wasn't the first one to post this morning!
I don't know if I can dothis again... it's the first time I have stayed off the scale and the first time I have put on that kind of weight in a week where TOM is not to blame.
I haven't done anythig different but ovulate :sadblinky and eat out twice (grilled chicken breast and ceasar salad)
I think I need to take this week off the challenge......... at least until I get back to where I should be. It was SO hard and to wake up today and see 174.5 on that scale was almost enough to send me over the edge. I was 174.5 on January 18.
I am really bummed out, really..F 41!!! 5'3" Start July 15/04

Re-induction Start Jan 4/06, time to lose these last 30lbs!!!

45lbs gone and maintained for almost 2 years!!!

Diesel :hug ,
Like I said in my post earlier, I was stuck between 194 & 196 for about 4 months! I wanted to quit so many times!! But the support of everyone here and my sheer will power made me stick with it. Now for the past two weeks in a row I have had a lose. I don't know what I have done different, but I am so glad I stayed with it. Hang in there and don't give up! Your time will come :hugstarted 7/31/04 - 203

Thanks Pooh, I am definitely NOT giving up, this is a WOL for me now.
I just don't know if I can stay off the scale again!!!
I only weigh once a day, so it's not like I am on it all day long, I just would have rather seen a 1/2 lb+ here and there, rather than a whole 2.5lbs in one week!
I would NOT have eaten out, had I known I was on an upward trend (and now I need to find out what they put in their dressing, I have been craving carbs like CRAZY since then, but not giving in)
it had taken me 3 months to lose 10lbs, and now it only looks like I lost 7.5lbs in those 3 months

it is with a bit of regret that i will post this.
i am not going to be able to continue this journey with you. for what happened with me the first week and reading the post of diesel, i know this is too much for me to commit too. i will not and can not let my dear friend down on our thursday weigh in. she has been with me and i with her since day one and i must continue with her. monday seems to be the day that it has come down to here in this place and that is great. you can all support cleo in her effort. and support each other with this challenge.
i will continue to watch and tell the attaboys when needed. and i will watch for progress.
i love each of you for you stick to it ness. if i continue i would only be lying to you and that my friends is not what jimmiejo is about. :hug

OK, here is an idea.
Everybody can pick their own weigh in day and just report it whenever it is? This was a great idea, Higgies. I have been meaning to tell you. I feel like I lost my need to be on the scale 45 times a day. I need to get back into ketosis and that freaked me out this week. But after that is accomplished I hope to continue only once a week weigh ins. It's been a relief actually to not need that stupid scale! :hugBARB

Well, I guess it's over then! It's ok that you all wussed out...
Just kidding! Hey, if I was able to help you get off the scale for a couple weeks and perhaps we've curbed the crazy 7 times a day weighing, then I consider it a success.
I just thought this would help out a bit, and I think it did. You guys succeeded for one or two weeks and met a challenge you were all afraid of facing.
Congrats to all of you and I'm very proud of you even if you all let me down in the end! Just kidding again!! I am super proud of you!!!!

higgies my dear man, i think all the girliegirls are still in with you.
jess just sounds like she is real busy and not able to check in every day.
barbiedoll is going into ketosis and i think she is still with you.
i think i'm the only one who actually came out and said that i can not do this any more. i'm not gonna lie to you about it. that just wouldn't be right.
loon and cleo, pooh and daisy, snow and ccf ( if you can find her) and diesel. they are all still here too.
i am the only one copping out of the whole thing. now i will say this, i don't feel the need to weigh 10 times a day. i think this little excursion took care of that. so in that way, i have succeeded and i did that with your help and barbies and everybody else here. and i may not weigh every day. maybe just twice a week. for me that is okay. it is a far cry from where i was.
are we still friends? i don't want this to disappear because of my decision.
girls still need you, higgies my man.
i sitting here thinking that all the lurkers are thinking what a %#% soap opera. they are getting their moneys worth! tee hee :wave hi out there in the shadows!
