A lot of people don't realize that in order to tone your middle and love handle area you also need to strengthen your back. This creates a balance in your torso and reduces the fat on your back.

1. Lie on your stomach and lift your head up slightly

2. You can keep your arms straight out at your sides or bend them with your elbows resting beside you.

3. Lift your feet and knees off the floor and flutter your legs rapidly back and forth. Do this for 20 seconds. Take a 20 second break and then repeat again.

Gonna start today with full commitment so that I can reach my challenge goal by Valentine's Day! Starting weight is 152 lbs., hope to lose 10 lbs. by then. Got some of those ball passing exercises in last night again. I don't think I do them correct but it sure is a workout none the less.

Hey I posted my pics - and the list still says I didn't?? Just want to double check on that!

Day 1 down! No Cheating - and I think I froze 1/2" off my waist working at the farmer's market today!

I'm gonna try my best, but I am in the middle of a medical crisis and may be in the hospital by tomorrow. Unable to take pics today. I have to take mine myself with camera on a tripod, and I am not allowed to bend or lift anything--I am on strict bedrest.

You have to change the list when you post your pictures.

WHERE in Virginia is there a Farmer's Market still open??? Mine in Staunton, VA, closed the Saturday before Thanksgiving. I have been in mourning since.

Well, here goes nothing. Don't tell my doc that I did this today! I am going to do what Disco wanted, and put myself in a pair of britches! I got the silk, lined (dryclean only) size 10 Petite pants on, zipped and finally buttoned, but my circulation was cut off. They fit in the butt and legs, but not in the waist. I didn't have them buttoned at first, but got them buttoned near the last picture.



Now, I'm posting before pics of the red dress I wanted to be in by Christmas, but that's not likely to happen. I can't get it zipped all the way up. This dress used to fit like a glove. I WILL be in it by Februrary 14th.
