*~A New Year, A New You~*

    I am envying everyone seeing great results this week. You all are awesome. I am sort of fixed in place (story of my life). A little down, a little up. I have added in 9 stories of stairs a day (is that 9 flights, or 18 flights? It's two sets of stairs between each floor, so I am not sure).

    break: 2 cups coffee w/ heavy cream & splenda
    1 egg's worth of egg salad, one oz sharp cheddar

        Lunch: 4 bbq'd chicken wings
        half cup baby carrots
        half cup sugar snap peas

        Dinner - tbd

        Opinions on how to count the stairs? I am on the 9th floor, and there are two sets of stairs between each floor.

          TW LOL, 4 times?! I dont have you on my list for this challenge, i dont remember you posting all the requirements either? am i goin crazy? it is a possibility...

          count the stairs per flight.

                    Just thought I'd bring everyone up to date on my grandma issue. She found out she was pregnant on Tuesday and they tell me on Wednesday, that is when stress starts, acceptence begins, come to Saturday when she feels she is miscarrying, has been spotting and cramping, goes to the ER and spends hours there. Of course more stress here not knowing, late that night get a call from my son, who says she didn't lose it, but finds out now it is identical twins. The bleeding is from the egg splitting into two. Oh boy, double the trouble, double the fun! Next day finds out they are still in the tubes (not good news could be tubal). She goes to the doctor on Tuesday and he says tht they are dropping since they are lower in the tubes than on Saturday which is good news. They still have to implant in the womb once they drop. It is just a freak coincidence that they found this pregnancy right after conception. So now it is in God's hands as to whethe these babies are meant to be. We just have to pray and wait and see. Wonder where my stress is coming from? No wonder I can't lose anything. I will be lucky if I have any teeth left from all the night grinding I am doing.
                    Ah well, hope everyone else's week is stressfree! Have a Good one!

                          Me Three!!! I am cruisinsince75 on the cruisecritic board and we have friends that we met on the board that we cruise with all the time. I haven't been on the board in awhile, because my focus has been here on ADBB. Besides, you know guys can't multi-task!!! LOL

                          Well, I blew it last night. I was just going to have a glass of wine to celebrate my wifes birthday. Well, lets just say it was a little more and leave it at that. Today, I am back with it. Went to the gym to work out and got 13 miles in on the bike. Had to do 12 in order to make my January mileage challenge, so I did the 1 extra for good measure. Then I learned the new weight equipment and got 20 minutes of upper body workout in. Boy am I sore.

                            Hope everyone is having a good day!!

                            Karen--I hope the situation with the babies gets resolved. The uncertainty is very stressful, but you are right, it is in God's hands...

                            Don--hopefully a bit of extra wine will not derail you. You are so close to your goal

                            TitianWasp--you look so slender, can't imagine you without another 20 pounds but I know everyone has their own goals and I hope you reach yours.

                            Jane, Don and cruisergal great to know there are other "cruise addicts" on here . I really hope we get to go again this year in December.

                            Madeline, I have never cruised on such a huge ship as the FOTS but it will be a great choice, especially for your kids. There is a lot to do. I think that ship was featured on the Travel Channel with Samantha Brown. You will have a GLORIOUS time.

                              Karen - Sorry to hear about the babies. Hopefully everything will work out in the end. Like you said it's in God's hands. You and yours will be in my thoughts and prayers.
                              Don - I don't think the red wine will have that much affect on you since you are going to the gym. Keep your chin up and keep working out.
