Re: Spring Into Summer Picture Challenge
Just wanted to checkin. I really need to be more active on this thread. I just hit a very emotional weight that brought back a lot of memories and sadness but at the same time I am so happy and relieved to be living this WOL. I honestly hardly think about it anymore It just seems natural. I took my kids to the park with an ex BF and his little boy yesterday. We hit Scandia and I didn't even think about the pizza or diet sodas. I had some homemade yogurt with flax for a snack. When I took the kids to carks jr, I had a low carb burger (6gr) and stayed right on track. (That said, order w/o the catsup and mayo I found the ingredients list for all their foods on the web site. WOW! The catsup and mayo has sugar). I didn't drink enough water though and when I weighed this morning the drop was a shock and only compounded the emotional visit with the ex. I'm doing really well.
I need to add strength training to my routine. I haven't ever been able to stick with exercise that feels like exercise but I want to do some core training so I can start hiking. Hiking and backpacking doesn't feel like exercise to me at all and it's something that would break up my weekday walking.
