    Good morning, fellow Challengers! Did an hour on the treadmill this morning 'cos I felt I overindulged yesterday and the Ketostix barely registered pale pink But ... back on track today .... got to remember to drink more water and watch those pesky carbs!

    Personally, I'm happy not to be weighing in until Halloween; gives me a chance to redeem myself before then

      Well Norah I don't know how you have the will power to not stand on a scale unitl the end of the month. But either way I'm proud of you. Proud that you do what is best for you, and proud that you do you best to stick to it....but more so proud of who you strive to be =)

            Hey, 'weenies ... what's happening? How's everyone coming along with their goals? I'm feeling better now that I'm back on Induction for a couple of weeks ... been a bit sluggish and puffy lately (even in the smaller jeans); well, it certainly won't hurt!

              I'm now under 300 pounds =) All is going well. I'll be going back to the doctors the begining of this week because my back is still hurtin, but beside that =)

                    Hey all
                    Boy did I screw up! I allowed my husband to cook me some meals.!! I woke up this morning and my pants that were loose 2 weeks ago ..were suddenly tight and I didnt feel very good. I cant get on the scale due to my 'no scale for October goal 'so I checked my ketones and there were NONE!!!
                    I really started thinking DH sabotaged me...I was checking his pockets for lil sugar packets when I came across the ingredients list for Bertolli pasta sauce. It has less than a gram of sugar per serving and no sugar in the ingredients list. What it does have is carrot juice concentrate. Stay away from this sauce people it will knock you off your wagon. My cravings are back full force too. I feel like I am starting over.
                    The best sauce I ever used was Colavita marinara. It has no sugar and my ketones were always high......and I am never dehydrated I truly get a good ketone reading. Sigh
                    I bet I gained 5 pounds back easy! We used the sauce twice in the past 2 weeks. At this point I dont think I will make my goal. I will be happy however to just be a few pounds down from my beginning October weight of 227.

                        OMGoodness! I just relized that I need to lose a half a pound a day if I want to make my goal of losing 17 pounds (being down to 290) by Halloween ....Holly heck, I hope I do it!

                        So I will be heading to the store today or tomorrow to get some squash...yummmo! All is well. My TOM started AGAIN today...so that is good and not. Good because I typically have Aunt Flow only a few times a year because of my PCOS....but because Atkins has helped my body be put right things are working again, lol. NOT complaining, Just ya know...lol..

                              Whoa! Thanks for the tip, Razzle ... gee, and I like Bertolli, too My fav was always Paul Newman's (RIP, dear Paul) ... but from now on, I'll be more cautious; guess we can't be too careful about reading labels, huh?

                              Anyway, a few pounds down is a few pounds less that ain't coming back so that, dear Razzle, is a very good thing!

                                Okay...I think I have ingested too much sodium somewhere. I don't feel bloated, but that's the only thing that I can't explain the 2 lbs I gained. Since I am still in ketosis, I am not flipping out. I haven't eaten anything that would knock me out. I am a bit concerned that the extra poundage hasn't moved though. I weighed myself 3 days ago, and then this morning and it's the same. I am hoping it comes off soon.
                                Took the vitamins today. Drank about 90 ounces. I didn't exercise. I will tomorrow though and hopefully that'll help with the 2 lbs of water that just wont leave me alone.
                                Hubs(gbidruglord) and I ate low carb Hardee's last thursday and then at my parents all weekend...needless to say all very salty.
                                I guess we'll see.
