I didn't weigh in on Sunday - was out of town. By the time I was able to weigh in on Tuesday morning, I'd already had breakfast, sooo... I've just decided to weigh in this coming Sunday instead.

I can tell I've lost something, though... inches, at least, because I can fit back into my black jeans without being squeezed.

Don't give up hope if you haven't lost a pound every week. Just stick to induction, or whatever stage you're on. But cheating every now and then with bread or sugar or whatever is just gonna set you back at square one and make you feel defeated when the scales don't budge. You get yourself into a cycle of self-defeat, that's easy to keep feeding but easier to break if you want to bad enough.

As Yoda would say, "There is no try. Only do." :yes

          Good luck!

Not at all, Apollo. You've lost 23 lbs. in one month? Major congrats! I lost like that when I first began Atkins - sometimes 7 lbs. in a week. It felt great to get it all off, and my health improved dramatically in a short period. I can imagine how great it must feel.

I'd like to join as well, please!

I started April 25, and I'd like to be at or below 130 by 9/1/05. I'm losing rather slowly, so it will certainly be a challenge, but I think it will motivate me to exercise, which I haven't been doing.

I'll report in on Monday mornings, if that's ok.

Low-carb happy wishes to us all!

exercise is not only "suggested" here , it is a MUST!

as is 64oz water + 8 ounces per 25lbs you want to lose

                    good luck to all

Holding steady at 235. Hey, it's not the news I was hoping for, but it's far better than seeing I've gained anything. The best news is that I can comfortably fit into a pair of jeans that were choking me 2 weeks ago.

This week I'm going to really push the water, coz I've been drinking not nearly enough. The amount of work I've got is making it hard to have time to exercise, as I'm usually going full steam from 7am to 11pm and busy on the weekends with work or house stuff. Of course, at the office I am usually running back and forth from the fax machine all day, so that's gotta count for something. ensive

I remember last year I also had a lot of trouble around May, too, because of the same thing - tight schedule, busy busy, not drinking enough water. I'll be able to plan for next May now that I know there is a pattern in my work/schedule around this time.

Late June ought to see some slowdown in my work schedule and personal schedule, so I plan to get out and walk around the duck pond in my back yard.

Edited to add: I know I can lose 35 lbs. by September!! :yes

                                Weekly Report

UGH!!! Up a half pound for the week, I'm still on extended induction. I'm considering moving to OWL next Monday, we'll see how the week goes.

BUT--the measuring tape is my friend! I went down a half inch in my bust and waist, an inch in hips, and about a half inch in each thigh! So I guess I'll take that half-pound bump-up!

I've been a water-drinking maniac (about 150 0z per day), but an exercise-slacker. Only exercised once since I joined this challenge a few days ago. But I'm heading for the treadmill now, my goal is four days' of exercise before next week's report.

                                Challenge--
