Effie, how are you eating now, what stage are you eating at? induction levels are fine to eat at for 6 months to year if you'd like, just be sure to mix things up so you don't get bored.

I went on OWL two weeks ago, but was still eating around 18-22 carbs/day. I think my downfall was this weekend. I had cauliflower casserole, which I learned last week that it stalls me. I also had bratwursts, which I learned in induction that they stall me. Eat two servings of each on both Saturday and Sunday, and voila! a recipe for a 3.5 pound gain.
I probably won't go back to Induction, but I think I'll stick to rung 1 at 22 carbs. If something doesn't give by next week, then I'll have to think hard about what the **** I'm doing.
FTF (Oh boy, that's an unfortunate acronym.. maybe I'll have to stick to calling you "fighting") -- I can't wait for your weigh in! It's gonna be HUGE! :yes
Hi everyone ........ :wave .........Well I have been doing fair I guess not as good as I would like to be though.......
Effie looks like we are still staying right about the same......... I have been walking every evening with my neighbor and that seems to be helping .... I start back to work tomorrow I don't know if that is going to help me or hurt me...... Well guess I better get in the bed I have to get up early.....

I doubt it....Just because you don't lose anything during the week doesn't mean you stalled...As a matter of fact I don't know any low glycemic veggies that stall people.
Now with the gain, It was all water weight, theres no way that you consumed that many calories to be fat....Theres probally aot of salt in it. Not to mention that daily flucuations can be from 5-15lbs

Yeah, you're right. I also think that it might not be the cauliflower itself, but the cheesy/sourcreamy casserole that I put it in! :eating At any rate, I've already dropped that weight, but since I'm not supposed to be weighing everyday, I have to pretend I didn't see that 192 on the scale! I started a new job on Monday, so I'm finding that my eating habits are better because I'm not grazing as much as I used to when my schedule was more flexible. I know I say this every week, but I can't wait for my Monday weigh in!
Well I weighed today and I haven't lost anything but I have increased my walking to 4 miles now........ I should start seeing some change I am sure....I hope everyone is doing ok .......
I went ahead a weighed today, since the scale wouldn't be available until next Sunday again.
I am 10lbs down but I also I know I have increased my LBM greatly, considering I went from pressing 100lbs over my head to 125 and my crunches have increased and so have my total amount of pushups. Also, I have went from a size tight 44 to a tight 40 in pants. My shirts are down from a XXL to Xl. I want to reach size 38 during july, Maybe I can get in them by the fourth, we will have to see.
I am still going to do my monthly weigh ins,except for the fourth of July, because I have a little experiment I am doing regarding exercise and going to see what it does to me.
FTF eh? I always though that was FWB, friends with benefiets.

Fighty - 10 pounds is fantastic! :icondance You almost sound like you're making excuses for it, like it's not enough. We still have 5 more months til Thanksgiving, so if you can keep that up, you'll be golden.
Sparkles - Hang in there, you'll see the numbers catch up soon enough. I was stick at 196 for about 3 weeks, but I could still feel that I was losing. 4 miles! :yikes That's impressive! How has it been since you started back to work?
I'm down 2.5 this week, bringing my challenge stats to 197/193/175.
I wish I had good news :anger but I have decided that I'm going to exercise no matter how much it hurts. If I could make 130 by Thanksgiving, I would be SO happy!
Well, I'll be happy when I am at goal or actually I'll be content when I am on the bus going to Basic training. right now I am taking it as a progress report, ya know?
