    lol, thank you!

    I am in the September challenge already.. is it okay to be in two challenges at once? I don't want the other challenge to think I am rejecting it, and then the other challenges will be like "look at that.. jumps from one challenge to another.. shameful" or something!

    I like your motivations... Fitting into a roller coaster is also one of my goals.. My main goal is to weigh 230 by August 1st. (I am 252.3 as of today)... I have promised myself if I lose that much weight, I will pick a date and put my down payment to hold my place for my wedding. (I'm planning on getting married at Walt Disney World... just as soon as I feel confident enough in how I look!)

    So 230 here I come, then I can finally give people a date when they nag me about "when are you guys getting married???", lol.

        Feeling good today! Scale went down to like 251.9.. I'm close to being under 250.. it's within arm's reach and I am happy!!! My clothes are getting looser and my appetite is under control. Thank you Atkins and ha !!!!

        My goal for today is to walk 1.5 miles on my treadmill and to do 15 minutes on "MY FITNESS" xbox video game.

        Hope all is going well for everyone else too!!!

          Well good for you Mary! I will be going to rehab on Wednesday for some treadmill work and arm work and will find out how much more weight I have loss since I weighed after the second day of Induction..I will have finished my first week of Induction today.

            I sincerely believe the first week is the hardest part of doing Atkins, since our body is trying so hard to get us to eat Carbs.. So congrats on not giving in to the cravings, and goodluck at your weigh in!

              Congratulations Mary and Montana(I need to know your real name lol ).

              Married in Disney world eh? That sounds like so much fun, I've never been to disney world.


              Don't worry about how many challenges you are in. I am in the July 4th aswell as this challenge. I just haven't posted much.

              My main Goal is being in the right shape to join the Army...so thats my most motivated Goal, I was hoping to be ready by this Christmas or so...but we will see.

              As for today, today was my off day of exercise, but I did eat correctly and down about 2 gallons of water. All it has been doing since yesterday is raining and its been really humid, which makes me feel like crud. Ohwell tommorow is another day and I get to use my new weight set!

                  That's really brave and awesome of you to be wanting to join the army. I'm sure you will make your goal and it will work out for you!


                  Well, I treadmilled for 1.6 miles today. I probably wouldn't have done it, except that I said that I would! lol I also took my dog for a long walk. Drank lots of water and had tuna-mayo-&cheese, a steak at outback, a ranch salad, and 3 small peices of broccolli.

                  Tomorow's goal; to treadmill 1.75 miles and to take my dog to the dog park.

                    Hi all!

                    Wow that food sounds delicious! and congrats on making exercise. My workout isn't until tonight so I look forward to it.

                    Well today was an interesting day. I got a call yesterday from Home Depot about a job, I went and interviewed today and got it! yay! I have to go do a drug test tommorow.

                    The best part is that the store is less than a mile away from my house so I will be riding a bike up there. Its an easy job, just working the lot, but I was only looking for something to get me through until I am in shape to get into the military. So this profession won't be to stressfull and I get plenty of exercise and Sun, especially this summer...gotta love texas!

                      Last night was intense for me, My workout included Push ups, 4 cycles of Crunches and then I did my lifting.

                      Mondays are Presses,dumbell flys and forearm work. Tonight is scheduled for moderate walking and sprints. Gotta love HIIT!

                        Goodjob with the workout!! And congrats on your new job!

                        I'm still doing well. Yesterday I did 30 minutes of "Myfitness" xbox video game, and walked my dog. Today I only walked the dog and did a lot of house cleaning. I might do more later. Anything to avoid studying lol.

                          Well, didn't hear from Johnny today, I guess he is resting for tommorow. Tommrow begins the 20 day count down day for me to weigh in. For some reason I am doing it month by month, I don't want to do any emotional damage lol.

                            I wish I had the will-power to stay off the scale for a month at a time! I have my weekly weigh-in on Saturday, and that's the one I count. But for now I just can't help myself from getting on the scale every morning! So far it's okay because I can see the scale moving down and it serves to inspire me.. but if I start to plateau or slow down, I will probably go to every other week weigh in's.

                            I have one of those doctor scale's with the balances. Right now I have to move the "250" block over and then go up from there on the one-pound balances. I am looking forward to when I can use the "200" block instead! It's a weird thing to look forward to, but it is one of my motivations..

                              Well the first time you don't see it move, hide it, throw the batterys out or just plain get rid of it for a while. It will cause emotional stress, believe me, I've been there to many times.

                              Weighing monthly is easy for me, for a few reasons. One being that I don't have a scale and use the one at my weekend job. And I am usally to busy to use it anyway. And second I have def learned my lesson Lol!


                              Well, today was different for me. I made Mashed cauliflower! ...tastes alot better than mashed potatoes. I also got to eat lamb, My favorite meat. I didn't get to eat all my calories for the day so I subsituted a shake instead, but I don't do it often and really hate to do it.

                              Tonight is weights! I love them. Pushups, a cycles of crunches, then its Bi's,Tri's and grip training.

                                Ugh, today sucked. Woke up with stomach ache and acid-reflux and it didn't go away all day (have no idea what caused it). I did well food-wise, but decided not to exercise today in hopes I would feel better.

                                Tomorow I am going to take the GRE (kind of like the SAT's, but for grad school). I really hope I feel better by then!!! But I can't wait until that test is finally over, I've been studying for it forever!

                                This weekend is going to be tough, my mother and sister are flying in for a visit (from michigan) and we're staying at a hotel in malibu on the beach. Any break in routine equals BAD for me!

                                okay... one thing at a time, mary!!! :bang :bang
