You know, the most irritating thing about authors (besides the fact that they don't publish fast enough) is that they think THEY get to make the decisions about how many books will be in a series.

I think there oughta be a LAW......

AMEN! What will she write about after the "last" book? If there's no Harry I'm not reading!!!!!! Not that it matters now that she's freakin' loaded but it makes me feel better! Lol!

            Re: Harry Potter Discussion

Last book, it better be hugh. I don't see Harry as becoming a great wizard in one year. I think its going to be like the first book when it took everyone pulling together to make it through the chamber. I think they will have to reestablish their Dumbledorfs army, Hermines brains, Rons strength and cunning, (remember the chess game) and Harry's leadership and even Neville and Luna will step up to the plate. The twins will probably play a major role developing 'anti terrorist charms that will work against the Dark Lord.

ooo, I know Aunt Petunia will step up and save the day with her great powers.

              LOL!!!

OMG! Could you see dudders' face if that happened? But I agree--there's more about her we don't know.

And I second that amen, Finelly!

And I agree-- Harry's just not powerful enough to pull something off that he has to. It's going to be like the Buffy the Vampire climax at graduation where everyone is jumping in. Picture Braveheart: with kids in robed wielding wands and quidditch equipment!

                Re: Harry Potter Discussion

By the way, I think Harry and Ginny make the perfect couple. If they aren't together at the end of the last book, I will do something very very bad. Although Lupin and Tonks are awfully cute.

Definately the Weasley twins will be involved in the final battle. They are not as carefree and goofy as they pretend to be, as evidenced by their departure from Hogwarts in Order of the Phoenix.

People who might redeem themselves in the last book: Draco Malfoy, Snape, Aunt Petunia, Percy. Am I missing anyone?

Supposedly, we're to expect something surprising from Petunia in the last book. Hmmmm.......

Wouldn't that be cool if Aunt Petunia is actually a witch but has been hiding it all these years from Uncle Vernon?
