    2. The OMAC Project

I wonder if there's anyone on these boards who knows what the second one is without using Google.

That sounds really familiar. I read Wired magazine and *sometimes* Sync. I swear I've read that word somewhere. How about a hint?

Your probably thinking of One-key MAC, which is used to authenticate messages.

But in this case it stands for Observational Meta-human Activity Construct.

LOL, yeah. Pretty dark storyline considering the characters involved.

No, no, no MoG. They're not called comic books anymore. They are called "graphic novels".

I used to read comic books (back in the day they were called comic books.) My favs were Fantastic Four (especially the ones with Dr. Doom---he's my favorite, ego-manical psychopathic super-villan!), X-Men (the ones from the mid-80s with the intro of Kitty Pryde---once they aged Illyana I lost interest in the series), and I like the Batman Dark Knight series.

Anyhoo, I've finished reading the first book of the Samaria series, Archangel, last night. Very good book.

Your right there, Megs. They were around in the 1950's and 60's.

They are the most famous "hard men" in british history. I own the film and the book. So so facsinating. I would recommend you look them up. Very scary stuff

A friend loaned me Kiss of the Highlander and I was determined NOT to read it.. just didn't seem like my cup of tea. When I had absolutely NOTHING left to read, I broke down and started it. I finished it in a day and was calling her up for the sequel.

                          Gotta love those Highlanders! Mmmmmmmmm
I love the Highlander books. I didn't realize that a new one was out though. I've read pretty much all of her highlander books: Beyond the Highland Mist, Highlander's Touch, Kiss of the Highlander, The Dark Highlander, and The Immortal Highlander. I'll have to go out and look for Spell of the Highlander after I finish the Stephanie Plum books.
