    Re: Biggest Loser Discrepancy????

Absolute favorite show (do I have to pick just one?): I love Gilmore Girls, Survivor and Biggest Loser the best. Even if everyone does not agree with the approach, it does make for dramatic television.

i agree with the two sides you are discribing.
last seasons was much different. No precentage. no men vs women, trainers were not so agressive the first few weeks.
as far as the women losing the least amount of weight i expected it because as always most of the time women do lose less then men do in the long run.
as far as the tv reality series goes i agree on it being what brings people in to veiw it, its not really reality. During this week one of the members who was making the meals to me seemed like an actor who was there to ruin it for the others or test them whichever you prefer to say. He could be it is a reality show.(((SHRUG)))))
I think thats why the first season did so well, is because it felt more like a true reality show than money making reality show. ((((SHRUG, again)))))o well.
as far as me liking the show i do and will continue to see it because it just reminds me that if these people can lose the weigh there is no reason for me to give up and not lose my weight.
Guess we will have to see what next week looks like.

Has anyone seen this weeks Women's World. It has a write up on the show and explains that each contestant gets to have typically 1200 calories a day. Yikes! It offers sample menus from the trainers...I looked at them and thought I'd eat a producer by the end of the second day.
