Nah, no blushing or apologies. Ask them again about the celebration. Could have been a misunderstanding.

One of the reasons that JW's don't celebrate Bday's is that not even Jesus celebrated his own Bday.

Nope. No picking here. I think that's in due part that most of the kids that question the "why nots" are just more curious then anything. For the most part, Sarah holds her own when speaking her mind...no clue where she gets that from. lol!

So I gather you consider Santa Claus to be evil too? LOL, he's not a religious symbol you know, I don't know of anyone who worships him anyway. Again, another fun thing for children.
Wow! lol! No. Santa's not evil either...unless your a toddler with stick fingers and scream frantically at some guy trying to wave at you wearing a red suit, funky looking beard and say's 'Ho'ho' so loud to make you want to cry. lol. There's a really cool book on the REAL Santa that I had gotten from the library...so, in one respect the girls can say "Yes, he did exists a long time ago and did very nice things for children and their families". I wish I could remember the name of it.

I guess I should bow out of this conversation, I don't think this board is a good place to be discussing "religious" beliefs at any rate.
I thinks....me too. lol..I looks like this all snowballed into a religious feature instead of just something to share that was good and positive in the world. lol.

        On wards, shall we???
