But see, that's my point! All of the glues that I know of that would really work to glue his butt to the seat would dry too fast for someone else to have applied it to the seat and then have time to leave, this guy to come in, pull down his trousers and sit---all the really strong glues dry in seconds! The seat would have been dry by the time he put his hiney on it and it wouldn't have stuck. I wish they'd tell what kind of glue it was susposed to have been.

DENVER (AP) - A man who sued Home Depot Inc. (HD) claiming that a prank left him glued to a restroom toilet seat has passed a lie detector test with questions about allegations that he made previous a similar claim in another town, a newspaper reported.

Bob Dougherty answered 20 questions in the polygraph test, including four related to a former Nederland town official's allegation that Dougherty made similar claims there, The Rocky Mountain News reported in Thursday's editions.

Dougherty, 57, had offered to take the test to dispel doubts about his story. The test, administered Wednesday, was paid for by television station KDVR.

Ron Trzepacz, former director of operations in Nederland, where Dougherty lives, had said that Dougherty claimed in 2004 that he was glued to a toilet seat in the town's visitor center but pulled himself free.

Dougherty has denied that and has said he did not know Trzepacz.

Dougherty's lawsuit, filed Oct. 28, claims that officials at the Home Depot in Louisville called for an ambulance after he had been stuck for about 15 minutes. Paramedics unbolted the toilet seat, which separated from his skin, leaving abrasions, according to the suit. The lawsuit also claims Dougherty was recovering from heart bypass surgery and thought he was having a heart attack when he got stuck. The lawsuit claims he suffered pain, humiliation and financial losses and seeks $3 million in damages.

Well, there you have it. He seemingly did not glue himself to the toilet seat. But here's the begging question....Is Home Depot now going to have to put up signs: "Warning: use the toilet at your own risk"?

Now I have to go chuckle quietly in music class thinking about this.

Probably Lisa. It'll just join the ranks of stupid warning stickers and tags on everything we buy. Such as the one that says not to use your hairdryer while in the shower.

yeah... I think it's a scam.. it's the SECOND time it happened to him??? what's the chances of that? seems he tried to sue for the same thing in some other state before this

besides.. I actually LOOK at the toilet seat before I sit on it... if there's spots or drops.. I wipe first with toilet paper... don't y'all?

hmmm... but that even bothers me.. if you were SOOOO traumatized about getting stuck to the toilet once.. I'm PRETTY sure I'd either wipe the seat.. or use one of those sani-liner things (home depots have them in all the ones i've been in).. or at least LOOK at the seat first....

(my little nephew dropped the lid on his little self once .. you know.. when they're first potty training.. and BARELY clear the bowl rim... well ethan smashed his little weiner so bad his mom called the pediatrician .. (she had those fluffy things on the toilet lid.. so the seat didnt' stay up well... from THAT DAY ON... little ethan stood with one hand in the 'business' position.. and the other HOLDING THE TOILET SEAT UP.. so it didn't fall and smash him again...

if this guy was so traumatized... he would have done something...

they found oj innocent too... still doesn't mean I believe it..
