Can someone change that 20 seconds between posts rule down to 10 seconds? It's really slowing me down.

I don't understand the limits. Why can't I give out as many as I want in one day and why can't I give out doubles to folks who are deserving and why can't I give them out for consistant and supportive attitudes, or for anniversary thank yous, or just because I enjoy their posts. The system still needs tweeked.

And why do we have to have 20 seconds between posts?

I don't see where you can change or delete a left rep.

                        Re: reputation

There are many things in this world and on this board that people do not like.

If we do not like a person, we can put them on our ignore list.

If we do not like a particular forum, then we do not go there.

If we do not like the topic of a post, we just do not read it.

I am sure there are many more things about the boards we do not like, and most of these do not offend enough for the mods/admins to intervene or change.

I know my fianceƩ likes getting the feedback from adding reputation, seeing rep points increase even though they do not make much sense to her. She also likes giving rep points but will go to particular posts to make them - if she can't do that, then she would PM the person to give them feedback or, just rate the whole thread.

Reputations, Rep points, Rep power - isn't this such an irrelevant topic compared to the bigger scheme of things? This is an Atkins diet bulletin board with little "toys" to play with on the side, such as reps.

Most people come here for a purpose - to learn about Atkins and to share their Atkins journey. Not argue about the pros and cons of reputations/ points/power

How the reputations/power/points is irrelevant really - if you do not like them, do not look at them or even check the user control panel. The mods/admins cannot please everyone - there is always going to be some smaller group of people who will complain about the board looks, functions, or even complain about the effect on the individual or whoever they think it will affect. The majority of the board do not voice their comments because they either have not read the thread, do not want to comment, do not care, do not think it is worth it, whatever.

So let's just get on with losing weight and find another time to bring the same ol subject up again.

Hey Quarter, how have you been. Haven't see you on the board for absolutely months. Think you were getting after us for something then also. Wondering what had happened to you.
