You have to "earn" it to get it from me Wanna! I don't spread the shyt just for the sake of spreading it! You know I gave a couple out when we first switched over to this board, and that was a while ago, I still can't give it out to those couple of folks again...how much of it do you have to spread before you can go back to the same folks anyway? and also, how come when I check my own status I have like 90 points but what displays as rep power is still under 30? We need some rules and regs posted on this subject so we can understand how it works if we're going to have the feature, don't you guys think so?

Oh and you get multiple points for each rep and I think if you get a rep from an admin or mod it's worth more....that's why the points and rep comments don't add up...that's all I know.

I liked them when they were anonomous, now I don't feel good about giving or receiving them cause I feel folks will feel as if they have to reciprocate or I do. But P-bird, its not butt kissing if you give them to new members or folks who aren't mods or Admins. The new kids are the ones we really need to encourage but they generally don't know what Rep points are or even care. LOL

I'm with Lynne there - I kinda feel a little inhibited giving comments now that our names appear - not that I was giving any bad comments. I've always like the anonymity because even though I liked to lavish praise, I think there was always a chance I'd put my foot in it for some reason eg praise em for something they actually hate!
And yeah, it really me that I have to keep spreading the rep round before I can give it to the same person - I tend to want to react to a post straightaway and award the rep point because it was a deserving post, not necessarily just because I liked the person. But as Jo once said to me, if we really wanted to praise a person, PM them because I am sure that is what would count more to the person.
