    Re: Hey East Coasters

Hey, would you blow some snow my way?

I'm from Louisiana and have moved to Tennessee in the past few years, but we still don't get any snow like I pictured.

So, if ya got some to spare, could you send it this way?

    Please...

      Re: Hey East Coasters

I live in NJ (near the coast, depending on how you look at it - the northern portion of Southern NJ or the southern portion of Northern NJ). In any event, a weather alert was posted about an hour and a half ago, predicting that my area would possibly get 5 to 7 inches by tomorrow morning.

My husband works in Maintenance for one of the major roadways in NJ and it's a VERY GOOD possibility that either he'll stay past his 3:00 p.m. release time or be told to come in later tonight. Either way, that part S#$cks!

If it weren't for that, I wouldn't mind the snow!!

Yes, it seems that it would make for a nice romantic evening with the fireplace going and everything all warm and cozy. I'd love to sit by a roaring fire all snuggled up to my husband and us looking out the window at the snow falling. Maybe have a cup of sugar-free hot cocoa...

Any of you snow people ever go on sleigh rides (like in the Christmas carols) with the jingle bells, horses and all?

                        Re: Hey East Coasters

We've had snow here (northeast ohio) for about 3 weeks or so now. I have to shovel the walkway every morning and i have to use the extend handle BROOM to clean off my car! Those little scrappers arent getting it anymore! lol I havent watched the news in forever so I dont know what they have been calling us to get. But its past my ankle every morning. I *LOVE* waking up and looking outside and its all perfect and flat. Its so beautiful!!!

My 6lb. Chihuahua has never seen snow before (shes a youngin) and I picked her up and brought her outside when we got the first snow storm this season....lol...i put her on the ground and she disappeared! ROFL, litterally her back showed a little and her head. I couldnt enjoy it too much though....she started yipping and tried to jump out of it. I wish i took a pic, it was the funniest thing i've ever seen. Ahh....good times, good time.

                            Re: Hey East Coasters

Good Morning! It is so beautiful outside. We got about 4 inches here. Some things were a little more. We had to go see a house lastnight and Rt. 5 was horrible. We went down at about 5:30 and the roads were kinda slushy. When we came back at 7:00, they were done. They had so much snow on them, it was hitting the undercarrage of the car!!!! It was crazy. Thank god for traction control.

We have a 2 hour delay here. How's it lookin by you guys?
