Thank you for the snow! I spent a few days in Colorado many years ago, and have been wanting to go back so bad it's almost a physical ache. I have wanted for years and years to settle there in a log cabin in the middle of the Rockies. It is truly a beautiful place.

You're welcome! thank you for enjoying the pictures! I love living here immensely! It is beautiful. I see the Rockies when I look out of my windows, and whereas my kids were initially reticent about moving here, they now love it as much as any child can love the promise that snow brings (along with a durable sled). This is a pretty special place.
We love it here too and spend every available second in the mountains. I know people who have lived here for 30 years and NEVER been to the mountains accept on I-70 going west, never hiked or anything. I just can't take it for granted like that, we're so lucky. But I am from Nebraska so.....
cold makes me HURT! here in north georgia.... we MIGHT get an inch.. once or twice a year... enough to close schools and crash all the power lines....it's pretty but... OUCH! snow causes problems here......
well.. ICE does mostly... coz we're more apt to get an ice storm than snow anyway... but those pics are BEAUTIFUL!!!
I love snow as long as I don't have to go out in it and now that I am RETIRED, did I mention that I was RETIRED, I can stay by the fire and enjoy the snow.
By the way, for anyone who doesn't know. I am retired.
