Moochiecat my Mother told my brother when he was 16 and put a car on his list she got him one all week before Christmas and it angered us older sibs cause we didn't get one. COme Christmas morning my brother was the angry one cause she got him a matchbox car.

I took a pic but there was no way i could get the whole thing in. It's in our sunroom beside our living room right now, the christmas tree wouldn't fit in the room with it there . . I wont be in any hurry to move it back when the tree is gone.

Isn't it though? the gold sprayed rose garland just makes it that much better too. I do take that off btw and only put it on when my MIL is over..I keep in on over xmas in case she drops in.

I'll never forget my husbands face when he saw it...

I was going to ask if perhaps it was originally a re-gift. Maybe someone gave it to her and she unloaded it on you? Can't you put it outside? It would look lovely in the garden and after a while, oh, those darn Canadian winters, it would rust out and, oh too bad, you'd have to get rid of it.

When I was 14, I was going out with my first serious boyfriend. I spent a lot of time in money chosing Christmas gifts for him and put together a package that included books and movies I knew he would like.

In return, I got this ugly little figurine of a tree that could not have cost more than $10. It was about five inches tall and two inches wide. I have no idea what he thought I was going to do with it. Here's the best part: it was wrapped in newspaper!

Oh the cage itself is kinda cool, IF you have a bird. But the stand with the garland, OMG that thing is the most hideous gaudiest thing I think I've ever seen, and the dove's ....ROTLMAO...this is killing me!

LOL yeah..tha cage itself isn't bad..but it's really big and so is the platform on the bottom, it's actually permanently put a dent in my carpet...oh and the garland...dont get me started LOL. my husband says it reminds him of some kind of decoration you'd see at a wedding.

she's bought me some bad gifts over the years, strange outfits, purses, etc. but this took the prize.

Well there's always this year..can't wait to see what i'll get..
