What gadget do you have in your house, that is completely useless??

    What gadget do you have in your house, that is completely useless??

    or one that you bought, that you never use??


    I know I bought one of those electrical impulse thingies, that you see on TV sometimes being advertsied whre it constricts your ab muscles nad its supposed to give you flat abs

    I don't really know if it works, but I've tried it and now it sits on the shelf collecting dust!

    I dont actually live in the same house as her officially, so its not the right answer, but I couldnt resist it for humorous effect!

    I have since re-gained a bit of weight, but that is soon to be coming off again!

      My sister has one of these. If you turn the voltage up too high, it's super painful...and um, you have to use it forever for it to work. If you stop using it, you get all flabby again.

      Ok, so...useless gadgets. Um. I have a mandoline (food slicer thingy) that my M-I-L gave me. It would be great if it actually worked, but I feel guilty throwing it away, because she got it from Pampered Chef and I know it wasn't cheap. I wanted it for slicing cucumbers and onions and lemons other veggies thinly, but you have to cut the chunks of veggie so small to get it to work, that it's not worth it. A half a lemon wont fit in it. STUPID!

        The most useless thing we "had" was a food processor, I threw it out last weekend. It was Johns and just like your mandoline Aphex, you had to cut the pieces up so small before you could put them in there what was the point? If I have to do that much work why not just go ahead and finish the job by hand? It took me 3 years to convince JOhn of that though, LOL, finally he got it!

          My serious answer would have to be my Video (vcr) recorder. I never use it anymore, now that it is all DVD's

            I like my food processor.... but the salad shooter... I have TWO of them... and they're pretty much useless for me...

                An egg cooker for the microwave. My in-laws gave it to us too, but we never use it.

                    Ummmmm, why are you looking for cat urine? There are nicer hobbies you could do, I would think. lol The best way to find cat urine is to walk around in your bare feet.

                              Because one of my cats has issues peeing when I'm gone for extended periods (like a week) and she ruined my couch by peeing on it!!!! So I wanted to make sure that there weren't any other places she peed while I was gone.

                              It may sound funny, but cat urine is nothing to laugh at! : (
