Wooo hooo girl you go for it ...I have first hand experience with piercings and I am here to tell you ..NO.... there is no age .... when I considered it I wanted one where things looked good...and if what you have looks lovely and girl it sure does!!!..then go for it decorate that body age is not a factor for decorations !!! ...

Thanks, Rich! I am seriously considering the navel piercing with a nice gemstone of some sort! My daughter who is 21 is like ...MOM!!! But hey, I work hard for these flat abs .. can I help it if I'm 50?

if i had a flat belly i might consider it... but as of now i'm all for sparing people from the horror of my belly...lol.
ahem, anyways...i'll always lean towards something more tastefully done, the same would go for tattoos. It will be interesting to see if those who are really enthusiastic about piercings and tattoos now will feel the same in 40 years.

I plan to have my navel pierced as soon as I hit goal. I also have 5 tatoos and as mine are all tasteful and have special meaning to me, I am sure I will feel the same about them on my death bed. I was also raised around tatoos and piercings and I find them (usually) very nice and beautiful. On the other hand, some people go overboard, by a long ways. But as has been said, who cares what other people think, if it makes you feel good, then go for it. And betty, if I had your tummy it would have already had a piercing. Go for it.

the one thing about being older doing this is that you can afford a real stone get something really nice ..you earned it look what you have done this year!!!! not a fake ..go for the real thing!
