Oh oh.. I forgot this one and it's the main one that was aggravating me yesterday. I'm an early bird on Saturdays because I like to get out and get things done and go home.

So I get REAL frustrated about businesses that don't open until 9:00 or 10:00 on a Saturday. 24-hour places have spoiled me I guess! I mean geez... by 8:00 I've already been to Wal-mart and the supermarket and then I have to wait on any other place to open.

My pet peeve is when a person on the phone says, "Hello. This is her."

Grrrrr. Proper English is to say, "This is she."

I know it is awkward to say , but correct.

Co-workers (or the boss or his wife or his "spy" ) coming past my cubicle when I'm in the middle of typing my post! Grrrrrr! Then I've got to "alt-tab" over to the window that looks like excellent buzy-ness going on here, over and over again!

Why can't they stay out of the break room down the hall, and in their cubbies like me, where they belong?

Two words: Sandwich Fingers.

Anyone know what i am talking about? When someone is eating a sandwich and their pinky fingers both go up, pointing in the air. I can't stand sandwich fingers...

One of my pet peaves is people who drink directly from the gallon of milk or other large drink container shared by other people.

Well, after reading this thread I am so happy that I was raised with manners.

Here's some of my pet peeves:

Instead of the "soda" thing in baby bottles, mine is *juice*. That's all my MIL gives her grandkids, juice. Umm, hello, it's Hawaiian Punch, not juice. I've started a list of things my kids will never need or get from me. Weird probably, but oh well.

People that don't use their blinkers

People driving slow in the fast lane... Get Outta My Way!

People that go thru the check out lane at Walmart with ad papers from another grocery store. If you want that price, go to that store. Grrr...

....people who fly past me 20 mph over the speed limit in the right lane when I'm trying to get into the right lane from the left, without going over the speed limit or getting hit from behind!

... and concerning driving... when you let someone in and they don't wave. What is up with that? WAVE. I let you in... it is the nice thing to do... ACKNOWLEDGE THAT. I think they even dedicated a whole Seinfeld episode concerning this pet peeve!!!

Right now, the thing that bothers me the most is the sound that flip flop's make when you walk. I have a co-worker who has a different pair for everyday of the week and that is all she wears. She is constantly going up and down the hall by my office door and I just want to snatch them off and smack her with them.

This is a double edged pet peeve: I hate for food to be wasted

I also hate when my son refuses to eat something I make for him which he normally loves to eat.

(I tend to want to finish it for him!! )

Man this is the perfect topic for me! lately I have so many things that peeve me, that I don't think there is enough room for me to post them. LOL

One of my main problems is, I always buy certain foods that I eat on the atkins woe. Yet everyone goes for my food, even though I make sure they have theirs. It drives me crazy. For instants they have chips or pop corn. I buy pork rinds for the times I feel like a chip or popcorn. Well they alway go for my pork rinds and leave their stuff. You say I should buy enough for everyone? Well I do that too, but they eat everything like staving savages and then proceed to eat my things. I think they should consider that I am limitted on the things I can eat, and have some consideration for me. I am now hidding my stuff. I wonder if I ate manure wheather they would want some.
Can anyone tell I went looking for some pork rinds and didn't find them? LOL Anyway that is one of my many. love Pru

I totally agree with you on this one . Happens all the time. My husband eats all his junk food and then eats my snacks. Wouldn't be too bad if he would just eat one portion, but he will eat half a can of nuts or more in one sitting and there go my snacks for a whole week!
