    Re: Pet pictures

And here are two of our three mice... they are really gold and silver. Not grey and orange, but gold and silver! Their names are Goldie Fawn and Nickelback:

And our 100 lb retriever, Bobo (short for Bonehead, but don't tell him that... ):

Keeping count? We're at 6 if you count the not-pictured third mouse. Her name is Gem (since she's not the color of a precious metal). Next is our beautiful cockatiel. She's my favorite. Have you ever known a bird who cuddles? Here's one:

And finally, there's Kit Kat whose picture I can't seem to find right now. She's a big fat maincoon that I hired when we had a mouse problem in KY (not the same mice as those pictured above). She cleaned the house of mice and gradually made her way from hired help to a member of the family.

        I just love this thread!!

        Here are our babies:

Shadow is the black dog and is part Great Pyrenees and Border Collie (80 pounds). Dakota "Kota" is the other one and the vet said that she looks to be part Siberian Husky and German Shepherd (possibly a third mix) and she is about 60 pounds. They weigh 20 pounds difference yet are the same height.

We got Shadow from our neighbors when they had puppies and Kota was rescued from the pound and was scheduled to be put to sleep that week. I pointed her out to my husband because the way she looks in person and from a distance is like a small wolf (he loves wolves). Of couse, we've read that you can't keep a wolf hybrid and we are pretty sure that she doesn't have any in her.

We also have a 20+ year old cat named Boots. (No picture available at this time.)

And out in the boonies where we live it seems that some chickens (from our neighbors that moved) have adopted us along with a stray black cat.

Our little family is just growing and growing!!

Oh how pretty.... I would love to have one of those!!

I miss having a dog so much. When I got divorced 5 years ago, my ex kept our Dalmatian. That wasn't a hard decision at all... he's home all the time and I work 60-70 hours a week. She's got epilepsy, controlled pretty well but she still has seizures occasionally. It was better for her to be with him since I'm gone so much, but wow... I miss my Maggie. I drive up to see them now and then for visitation.. LOL ! Luckily he and I get along very well now that we're divorced... go figure, huh?

The cat is pretty self-sufficient but I sure would love to figure out a way to get a dog again.

I love seeing these pet pics!

                Look at these two cuties!

                Ribeye and Sir Loins!

Ok so they technically AREN'T pets, since we're going to fatten them up and make hamburger out of them. They are awfully cute when they're little though, aren't they?

BTW all of your sweeties are adorable. I especially like the black and white photos of sarge!

This is great! I have 9 siberian huskies at the moment. I am being forced to sell them all except for one. It is one of the hardest things I have ever had to do.
There is something about each one that I love so dearly, it was why I bought or kept them out of a litter. Anyway, before I start to cry again, lol.

This is Malachi. I need a better pic and he is 2 years old now.

This is malachi's daughter Ebony. She is going to be a year old this month, again I need a new pic, but this is my fav.

This is Willow. She is over 5 years old. She is the crater master. All these are hers.
