Mom and Dad tried to name us after family members of friends and had two names: a female name and a male name (with a couple as back up). If I was a girl, I was supposed to be named after a Great-aunt Margaret. If I was a boy, then I was supposed to be named after a friend of my dad's, Andrew.
Margaret was shortened to Meg and Andrew became Andrea.

...Was in HEAVEN -got to 150, for awhile, then got too busy, and gave in too much... and... OK holding pattern "keep it together..." 







It was made even more difficult when my brother married his second wife - her name is Lynn. Although we don't see them that often (they live in Kentucky), when we're gathered round the table, and somebody calls out "Lynn", we both look up.
