  • Do you believe in Ghosts?

    Hi Guys

I was curious to see if any of you have had any experiences or know of any stories

I work full time as a paranormal Investigator here in Scotland. I visit locations reported to have paranormal activity with my Team and also work on local radio helping the public with there questions, experiences and my mediums on occasion give readings.

I’m always looking for more stories for my site and forum boards and new locations to look into.

    Also the big question……………

    Do you believe in ghosts?

A couple of pictures of haunted locations Ive looked into.

    More pictures!!

I've never had any experiences myself but I'm absolutely fascinated with ghosts and the paranormal, and yes... I believe in ghosts. My cousin has put together a book of ghost stories from the area where she lives.

I read everything I come across on the subject and love the documentaries on television. Of course if I ever have a real ghostly experience I'm sure I'll freak. LOL !

I don't know if her book would be available there but this is it if you run across it:

COLUMBUS GHOSTS by Robin Smith (2002) Historic Haunts of Ohio’s Capital! The author serves up the spirited history of Columbus, Ohio - but with a whole different twist to it. This well written and researched book collects the city’s most famous hauntings, including tales from the Kelton House, Camp Chase and its infamous Gray Lady, the Ohio State House, historic German Village, Fort Hayes, the Ohio State Penitentiary and more.

Hi Scott - what a fascinating job. Lots of us have stories. I'm hopeless at linking things, but if you look further down in this forum there's one started by Brook called "Spirits/Ghosts - Personal loss...." where lots of people have shared stories. Have a look in there.

                Hi cristylp

I will look out for the book, Super stuff. Im actually in contact with a group from North West Ohio.

ladyinred dont worry Im Ryan but an easy mistake. I do similar stuff regular . I shall search out that section. Thanks

Lady_Hawke, I dont have much hair . Yeah I get times when it gets "hairy" . usually I go into a certain mindset though so that i can complete the investigation with an open calm mind.

Sitting in a bedroom of an old victorian house in a village not to far from my home town; I hear someone come up the stairs that end at the room door which is open. I think its a team member so stand waiting on them to appear. The footsteps continue and stop at the top of the stairs infront of me. No one is there though I was a little shocked I have to say.

MotherOfGizmo; My site and forum boards are at www.Scottish-Paranormal.co.uk

Superb stuff guys, Keep them coming.

Hey, Ryan...what an interesting job you've got.

Gore Orphanage in Ohio was one that my hubby was raised in believeing to be true...he was born and raised in Elyria, Ohio. It's still controversial to the local natives of the area to be fact or fiction.

I have my own beliefs of haunts, ghosts, and spirts that need to be rattled back to the otherside based on my own personal experiences, but I do find it all very faciniating.

                      Best wishes.

Re: Do you believe in Ghosts?

I have never encountered a ghost, but both my children have had "visits" that scared the heck out of them, and they were both adults at the time.
My daughter rented a house in a small town here in Washington who's owner had passed away. Mr Herzog visited them often, usually sitting in his favorite rocker. My daughter never saw him there but saw the chair rock and her dog would sit in front of it and bark at it all the time.
My son suggests that our RV is haunted will not go into it at all. The owner of it passed away and it was his favorite home.

This is so fascinating! I'd love to see more pictures & hear stories!

LOL ~ we had a *ghost dog* in my childhood house in NJ. It was this little white poofy dog that would "guard" my parents' bedroom. I hated that little thing. It was always chasing after me and would scare me. My parents said that they people who owned the house previously had a dog that looked like that. So maybe he passed away in the house or something. Anyway, i never told anyone about the dog (besides my parents when i was little.) I invited a friend over when i was in high school who was into paranormal stuff and she she came over and said, "What is the deal with the little white dog running in your hallway!" I almost fell over... my parents' never told her ~ they had forgotten about it.

As an adult i've seen that thing ~ i was back home visiting my mom and went to the bathroom in the middle of the night. I left the door open and when i looked up, there was that stupid little dog. I just glared at him and told him that he didn't scare me anymore. Weird...

That's pretty much my only ghost story! Call me crazy...
