Well, Atkins didn't really force me into knitting...it was those other people in Journal Chats (you know who you are
) who forced me into thinking I needed to pick up a hobby. And, well, I repicked up one that kept me from chowing down over the long American Labor Day holiday. I did watch a boring/wild movie called, "Bob Roberts" while knitting over night on Saturday. Thank God for knitting...I would have fallen asleep!
So, here ya go. Be bored. Go forth and prosper. Find a hobby of your own.
Far left: Navy Blue (mine), Middle: Hot Pink Fuzz (Katy's), Far Right: Muddy Fun (Mine)...I made one for Sarah her's is a "sunkist" scarf but I forgot to nab it from her closet. Next time

Here you can see just how long the scarfs are. Katy's hot pink is just her size...

Since homework is a big production around this joint, Katy kept busy by fiddling around in the garage and doing something to keep herself occupied while I worked with Sarah...it was really too quiet. Then she came in with a great big grin on her face and showed me this....She's calls it a "bird feeder". Sure!

She's so much like her daddy sometimes. The little stinker went through hubby's stuff and found some use for a few items "just laying around". I couldn't help but giggle and give her loads of praise for thinking so smartly. What else could a proud mamma do? It didn't stop there....
She soon came back in with a screw and a screw driver.
Me: "What are you tearing apart?"
Katy: "Who? Me? I'm not tearing anything apart"....<<bats big brown eyes>>
Me: "Then what are you putting together?"
Katy: "I'm not putting anything together"...<<big cheesy grin>>
Me: "Hand over the tools..."
Katy: *sigh* <<reluctently hands over the tools and starts ripping out of the house like her shoes were on fire>>
Yep. That's our girl.
I'm also thinking...wait until her daddy comes home! LOL....
