Son says he will need Therapy when he groes up due to, dad is now on the computer more than he is. The "Computer Deprivation Disorder" illness is surely killing him. He thinks I should buy another computer for Christmas.

He must be crazy!! (off the record, i'm looking on ebay, tonight!)

I will know if I'm addicted if I take laptop to deer stand. There is just something wrong with that!!!

Re: Grizzly's Addiction to ADBB Chats

I'm CURED!!! Dr. Know-it-All (our king of the camp hunting buddy) explained it to me.
The internet site your addicted to is not an addiction after all.

ADBB is the name of your new millenium book. In this book that you read each day, you can write notes about things in your life that coincide with the plot of each chapter that you are reading. The ADBB book has humor, violence, sex, sadness, pictures and different plots.

Thanks to my highly educated hunting buddy, I'm Free from guilt!! (Yea, right)

I did NOT think this was possible,

until it actually happened last night.....

I was sleeping lightly -on and off all night due to a cough and dry throat- and every time I woke up I'd been dreaming I was posting here! This went on all night long!!!!

And then, I left the house early so I could get a head start before "work" started! LOL
Is there a 12-step meeting for this??

Bren, it would be cold except for the Outback clothing we buy. I'm the only person I know who has a hunting coat and pants that cost more than any suit either over the counter or taylored that I have ever bought. We hunted yesterday and the high was around 17 up until 11 a.m. Windchill around 5 which is pretty cold for Garrett County this early in the season.

BOONIE- we will start therapy classes as a New Year Resolution. Til then, POST ON!!!!

Re: Grizzly's Addiction to ADBB Chats

is a way of life, not just a diet.

Yes, I can go 24 hours without checking my journals.

Checking journal before sun comes up is bad.

Strolling over to computer to check journal and acting like i'm doing something else.

Caught you reading my thread. Do ya have the same problem with can't get enough ??????

Re: Grizzly's Addiction to ADBB Chats

My hubby has recently said....."I bet I can tell you what you do all day (while he's at work).....you are either watching t.v., sleeping or on the computer...." All assumptions of course (I'd like to believe I do other, more productive things with my time).

He does seem to "find" me on the computer alot. He wonders who I'm talking to also....he's not very familiar with bloggs, chats and the such, so he always asks me....."who are you emailing". How funny!!!

I don't involve him much because he is quite opinionated and would probably have very little in the supportive category to say about using an online community for support. He already has his "opinions" about Atkins. Not Atkins itself but any diet other than the "old fashion-eat-less-exercise-more" approach. I about ate my own arm the last time I tried that approach. He basically told me to just eat less of it of course....and exercise more!!!

Yes I do this....when my hubby walks in, I minimize the screen and watch his eyes to see that he does not read the title of the minimized square in the bottom corner....it obvioulsy says Atkins Diet Bulletin Board. I never really know if he bothers to actually read it, but he jokes and comments about me minimizing "something" I want to keep "secret".

O.K. I just caught myself not writing in someone's journal due to by not writing, they would not be able to tell how long I've been on line, reading threads.
