    For cooking, I prefer the fortified wines, like sherry and madeira. They give a much more consistent finished product than the non-fortified wines. Plus you don't have to risk ruining a dish because the wine you used was too tannic.

    I don't drink wine solo. That is, I don't drink wine unless its a part of the meal. So what kind of wine I drink depends upon what I'm eating. Sancerre, Chenin Blanc, Cote-du-Rhone, Shiraz, Riesling---are all fair game depending on the menu.

        Plus its only 9% - so you can drink a whole bottle and still feel ok-ish!! lol

        White zinfandel is a very sweet wine. I'd be very careful how much you have, according to calorieking.com 1 glass (5.1 oz) of Suttor home has 8.9g of carbs

        I like a dry white wine, not a red wine drinker at all. I'm partial to canadian (niagra region) whites like Jackson Triggs sauvingon blanc.

        I don't drink whine very often i find it really bloats me the next day.
