I used a fake email address and it took me to a page selling books for a "acid alkaline diet". What a cheap ploy to get someone to a website. The text is pretty absurd anyway. Apparantly, Tony Robbins found the key to losing weight without having to exercise.

ok so the google banner adds ..I just got access to the woman's forum since I left and came back and left and came back ect...anyway the banner adds as I mentioned before (the ones right above us here) are the same BS ...now I have one ..because I joined the woman's forum that promises me I will meet Big Beautiful Women!!!!! OK tell me that is not the same kind of BS as the link here? I mean I know this board needs to make money .. I am a supporting member time three donations....but come on ...do you really think wolong teas that promise me a twig like body or meeting big beautiful women are really what I need when I come on this board? ..

As far as the Google Ads go, the way it works is that it scans the contents of the page and tries to fit the ad to the page content. However, the content reading algorithm of Google Ads isn't that smart.

If you do see some ads that are inappropraite for the ADBB, like Anti-Atkins or anti-low-carb, or ads you know are just plain rip-offs, do PM Tom the url of the offending sites. He can keep those sites from appearing on the banner above.

ok thanks for the info Robbie!!! it is so good to see you as always you are so fun to read.....I really just think it is funny now ...it bugged me at first ...I was furious..... honestly if I did send Tom a pm for each one I think he would be overwhelmed
