Re: Anyone Else a Soprano's Junkie?

I agree. The whole time I kept looking at the clock thinking about how lame it was...and how time was running out so SOMETHING had to happen.

I mean...as disappointed as I was last season during the 'dream' sequences....this season was just worse. The whole season I kept expecting plot twists and stuff....and it never happened. It almost seems like this whole season was written as an afterthought. No real effort put into it AT ALL... Honestly, I would have rather seen Tony's character die when Junior shot him...and that just have been the end. I could have handled that.

i, for one, thought it was a brilliant ending. you were on the dge of your seat for the last few minutes, were you not? that was chase's point.

            maybe so.

i personally think that the ending was a "life goes on as usual" scenario. there was a lot of symbolism - AJ's discussion with tony about always focusing on the good times, the cheesy journey song that harkens most of us back to a happier time when we were younger in the 80's, the round onion rings (circle of life), family unity (all meeting at the same diner), i could go on.

plus, i found it really interesting that in the last 2 episodes, AJ is in therapy and in the last episode, we see him come down the steps in a wife-beater and bathrobe, with gold cain prominently displayed. leaves the door wide open for a generation II soprano's...

Re: Anyone Else a Soprano's Junkie?

What I was going on with my assumption was the scene where they(TONY AND BOBBY) are in the boat and taliking about what happens when you die, they agreed that everything goes black.
