Without a doubt, my favorite movie is Sunset Boulevard. Best movie ever made as far as I'm concerned. I've been known on several occasion to quote Norma Desmond in my more sardonic moments lol...

I've also taken a shine to the more recent movie, Dreamgirls. Another great movie, but not half as quotable unless I were to randomly break into song

                    Re: Movies.....

Hi, I saw Georgia Rule last weekend... I told my husband "oh, I think it will be funny, I saw the previews..." so we go, watch it... I cried my eyeballs out! It was sooo good! I was still crying and feeling kinda wiped out by it as the credits rolled up and the lights came on I said..." well, that really wasn't that funny" but boy! that's my new fav. I want to take my daughter so we can cry our eyes out together. Ha!
I don't want to say more and ruin it for anyone, but it is reallllllly good.

Shirley Valentine is one of my favorites. Guess Who's Coming To Dinner, Trading Places, Terms of Endearment. I also really love anything historical, and prefer this along with Indie and Foreign films. No Sci-Fi or Westerns for me, though - and of course that is what my husband happens to be into.

Fav movie of all time: Gone with the wind.

movies I love and can watch over and over and never get sick of:

                          Snatch
                          Fargo
                          Shawshank Redemption
                          Schindlers list
                          Goodfellas

Has anyone seen the new Pirates of the Carribbean yet? My 15 yr old stepdaughter went on the weekend and walked out of it..said it was too long and she'd had enough she loved the other two?

OK...I'm a bit of a geek...I can admit it, but I've been told my taste in movies proves it.
                              And its a tie!

Star Trek II The Wrath of Khan

I just cant decide if I like sci-fi best...or that toilet comedy humour stuff!
