I have loved the idea from the get go. There was a bunch planning for Vegas in late 2008 and they just disappeared.
I promise I will be there if it ever happens. I would love to meet everybody.

yay!!! lets do it you guys. it will be fun. we will have nothing but atkins friendly food and drinks on the menus. im picturing a weekend of information, fun, fun and celebrating how this wol has changed our lives. (i'm so dramatic didnt ya know)

i called circus circus tody and i think we can do it for btwn $350 and $450 per person. that's for the banquet and the room. i got prices for the last weekend in february and the 2nd week in may. any suggestions? how does the price sound? air fare would be seperate.

okay, I'm in... just let me know far enough in advance so I can get off work... we schedule 2 months in advance with an every other weekend commitment... don't do it on a holiday either... okay? those are a *itch to get off. lol. wow... aren't I the problem child.

i'm sooo excited! i will set it up for btwn 5-7 months out. that will give everyone time to get sitters, time off and money. i will post progress on this thread. please post suggestions and requests here as well. im sooo excited!

i really need a good idea of how many rooms and people we will have. over nine rooms count for a group rate. i priced for 30 to 50 rooms with 60 to 100 people.

Meaty, I can go anytime from July 1 to Sept 1. The early part of the year isnt possible for me, especially May. You plan it when it is best for everybody though. I have always wanted to do this, maybe you can pull it off.

Hey! Sorry I haven't been much of a help. You've really done a lot of work so far. I guess the only suggestions I would make would be to contact Tom, the board owner or an admin. If you can get the event "blessed" as a sort of official event, then you can probably give them information or a flyer to have sent to the general population so more exposure will be given to the event and thus more participants.

When you have a larger group of people, you don't need to be as considerate of individual scheduling conflicts. That was my big problem. I was just trying to get 5 or so people together....not something like this! Good job! I'd certainly try to be there if ya do it.
