check this out http://www.southpointcasino.com/ i think this is it. we can get it for $140/night on march 28 and 29 it's 3 stars but it's only 2 yrs old so it still looks nice. there are 42 in plasma tv's in room, fitness center, beautiful meeting rooms and a menu that we can tweek to our woe. it's 4 miles from the strip though. but i dont think that's a big problem. there is a casino on site. once we add the meeting room for the dinner party we will probably be under $400 dollars. as far as music for the party goes we can get a dj (anyone on here a dj) or anyone who wants to can bring a few mix cd's and we can jam to that. those of us with teen's can enlist their services. we should be able to get a good mix that way. that would be cheaper too. they have the sound equipment and everything.

Geez...you all are funny....lol.....

Hubby and I are planning our anniversary gettaway to either Vegas or Reno next year. Reno's closer, but Vegas is more fun. I doubt we'll be able to go the same time everyone else here is planning because of school, money, and time, but I'll be watching to see when you all get together just incase.

And when you're in Vegas, why do you need a room? Aren't the casinos open 24/7 and bring you drinks for free as long as your play??......LOL....Besides, if you're sleepy, you can go into one of the shows and take a nap and then be revived again. he he he..

This hotel looks great! I thought this was going to take place at the end of February? Is this a firm date the end of March? Just wondering.

well we could do it either jan. 25-27 or march 28-30. those are the times when the price is at it's lowest. i figured march would be better than jan. since jan is so close to after xmas brokedom. it's up to you guys. i have to speak with the sales manager to make sure one of the meeting rooms is available.

I LOVE mechanical bulls! I used to ride them all the time!!! not to bring this topic around to anything but I had quite an experience on the pads that surround the mechanical bulls, LOL! I can ride them up to level 6 I think. Well, back then I could, who knows what it's be now. LOL!
