OMG, this one made me laugh. I was 15 armed with a learner's permit and a step dad that yelled and screamed over everything that I did or didn't do. It was one of the most stressful times in my entire life. I almost gave up and decided driving wasn't worth what I had to go through to get the license. To top it off, we had a VW bus and thats what I learned and took my test in!!!

I got my license the day after my 16th birthday, passed the first time after 5 months of learning, but did take the car out at night a couple times when I was 14-15 hehehe I was a bad kid..
I learned to drive when I was 14. Back then, you could get a real driver's license (not a learner's permit) at aged 15 in my state. My step-dad checked me out of school on my 15th birthday and I got my license on the first try. I was even given the old family car and started driving myself to school then. (9th grade) My step-dad required me to learn how to change my own oil and change a tire before he would let me get a license.
Took drivers ed when I was 14 (just because my sister was taking it and parents figured we should take it together. I had an older boyfriend though that drove me everywhere so I didn't attempt to get a license until I was 17. Passed on the first attempt.
