I went to school with Rebecca Gayheart for 11 years. I also know one of the guitar players, Bo Garrett, for Montgomery Gentry (he dates one of my friends). I've met the cast of the original Dukes of Hazzard.

Re: Have you ever met a famous person and who was it?
Two months ago, I met the lead singer of Poison- Bret Michaels (late 80's/early 90's band) in Orlando. By far one of the coolest things I have done. We were in Old Town in Orlando at a bar and he played some of his most famous songs.
Here is a blurb from wikipedia:
Poison's second album, Open Up and Say...Ahh!, which was released on May 21, 1988 (see 1988 in music) would ultimately go on to sell 8 million copies worldwide. The record included the band's biggest hit, "Every Rose Has Its Thorn," along with other top 10 hits, "Nothin' But A Good Time", "Fallen Angel" and the Loggins and Messina cover "Your Mama Don't Dance." The album had created a controversy with its initial cover, a depiction of a female demonic figure with an apparently obscenely long tongue. A censored version of the cover followed, focusing on the figure's eyes.
Poison's third album, Flesh & Blood, released on June 21, 1990, also was highly successful. It too features an alternate cover, as the original featured what appeared to be running ink or possibly blood from the tattoo. (Subsequent versions of this cover removed this "extra" ink.) The record went multi-platinum, spawning three gold singles: "Unskinny Bop," "Ride the Wind," and the ballad "Something To Believe In". The last single released was the title cut, "Flesh & Blood (Sacrifice)". Though the video was banned from MTV due to its explicit nature, but did surface later in the video compilation, Flesh, Blood & Videotape early in 1991. Flesh & Blood reached #2 on the American charts, providing the impetus for a further world tour.

Yep, definitely still a hottie!

oh fun topic. lets see, my friend Val was (attempted to be) picked up in a bar by Richard Jenni (comedian who just committed suicide), she had no idea who he was so she told him off. http://www.richardjeni.com/
went to the home of a former Boston Bruin player (worked with his daughter) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Johnny_Bucyk for a Boston Bruins ONLY christmas family party, so there were tons of hockey players there (but not being a fan, I didn't know who any of them were, LOL!
have a photo I took of Robert Urich from when he played Spencer for Hire (filmed here in Boston) http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0001810/
um...my dad's wife works for Siegfried & Roy's manager, so there are many celebs that come by and we have a lot of S&R's stuff, autographs, photos etc...
my cousin is a performer in the buffalo NY area (only famous moderately there, LOL)
